HEHEHE your line blueprint too? cool
yeah . i dont know for sure about those boxes .. but i wouldn't want any power going through them!
jap spec ones would be a totally different issue.
it's my mates car, but me and his brother do nearly al the work on it.. so it's getting resprayed in red.
DAYUM , rb25 with 3040 would hammer in one of those.. would love to see that car go!
fair enough darrin, they just look pretty weak is all. shame we gave away and exedy clutch that was in the car we bought, no use for it.. the block had 2 holes in it. damn rod went for a trip around the block lol
what about reinsforcement of the float so it doesn't implode ... prety sure i've heard this happen on blow through systems.
do you trust the gear set for the 4ac to cope with that power..
same thing for you Darrin.. i dont think the gearbox from the 4ac will handle the 20v 4AGE power and revs etc.. i havent looked into it, but wouldn't think so from looking at the one we took out of the sprinter here!
so you want a N/A engine in it? There was a pink AE86 drifting at wakefield on the weekend, NA 4age .. was going good but something broke, needed more power fo the long, high speed corners.
what price can you get the 20V with gearbox and loom for?
if they do go hard, there are treatments out there that will restore the tyres to their original softness..
i can find out what the stuff is called if anyone interested.
lol no red ... silver
and yeah these things are noisy enough.. so it has been sound proofed .. adding a rebuilt s15 tturbo .. new plenum in pics, diff just been rebuilt .. getting there slowly
couple of things to take into account..
17" wheels will have a higher weight most likely which will affect braking, turning, tramlining etc
however the width of the tyre will affect the tramline effect!
slightly bumper ride due to harder side wall on a lower profile tyre.
most of this your would more than likely not notice at all.. but specifically asking if you would notice .. maybe some aspects however i dont think it would compromise the handling of the car!
in fact harder side walls would promote better turn in on initial weight shift anyway!
what setup have you got now? just exposed pods?
just need to make something to cover them to get it passed!

only if you cant find one!
what exhaust flange is on the td06?
get any and have someone to weld on the correct flange.. or take it to a good exhaust company and get them to fabricate one for you
try UAS

depends if you want it for standard turbo or aftermarket.
pitchd.. not many ppl would mount a std turbo on a high manifold, not much point making a new exhaust dump pipe and lower pipe just for that!
well other subjetcs aside .. regardless of how funny they are!!!
i did my spray for $1600 .. however i did all the work of preparation myself. this was 1.5 years ago and havent had any problems with cracking or peeling or fading!
half of that cost was in the booth and spraypainter .. the other half was in paint.
if you have time and an alternate form of transport you could do it your self.. if your not inclined that way do a shop around of who will just spray a car that is already prepped if you buy paint .. then find out who will prep a car and not paint it .. ppl may round off the price due to doing the complete spray!
in regards to the kit .. well put them on yourself and that wont add any cost .. plus you wont be spraying the old stuff so the wing and front bar isn't a consideration really (other than aftermarket front bars seem to use more paint)
good luck with the hunt!
leech_ ... the panel that surrounds the lights is interchangeable and easily unscrews (well with the lights out) so colour shouldn't sway your choice..
and the indicators are pretty much built in .. you would have to remove the lights to do anything with them.
hope this helps
