  3. i have a similar issue as this.. but mine works fine when it's hot.. and is linked with my speedo for some reason.. give the car a thrash around the track .. 2 laps down.. the speedo is working as is the power steering :confused:
  4. Yeah the original links for the front are used, however i am running mine at full hard on the front, to try and reduce oversteer and i had to swap the links across... left to right and vice versa..
  5. OOOHHHH SK do you have any maps that describe the HKS GT 3040 with .70AR and 1.12 exhaust?? im thinking they wouldn't be obtainable... but since this thread is back i thought id ask as my turbo system is going in very soon!
  6. Personally, it would be a better thing to get aftermarket adjustable swaybars so you can modify the feel and affect that the sway bars do... no guarantee that when you get em fitted that it will hadle like you want it to! my 2 cents is all

  8. i have seen these out there .. mostly if you want an easy application of the R34 lights you get the radiator support for it so the lights bolt in! or mod the existing one to work. bonnet is thinner on a GT-T than a GTR and these guards are for GTR, same goes for the front bar too!

  11. guilty.. they are simple plug in units.. take you5-10minutes to put in yourself as to tuning.. that really depends on how much time you want them to spend on the Dyno tuning.. say about $150-$200 an hour would be guess!
  12. it could have been dirty or grit could have made it into the hub therefore wearing out the bearings.. is there must grease around the bearing on the outside? seal might have gone and it dried out a bit and lost its lubrication.. i've only ever had an issue with a wheel bearing on an HQ race car... so the heat etc made that fail..

  14. sounds pretty much right there Duncan.. but is only when you turn left? the wheel bearing would cause a noise at any point on the wheels travel... or at least when under load on BOTH left and right...
  15. you can carry 4 mates...... like in a skyline ... illegally!!!!!! no idea if they came factory turbo.. i heard a whisper that they did.. but cannot confirm!

Well a full Tein HA, brand new are between $2K and $2.3K height and damper adjustable, yet VERY firm and bumpy ride... they do a huge amount to the handling of the car however i do suggest a front swaybar replacement with a stiffer one from whiteline, rear should be ok, unless you plan on drifting! as for camber etc, bit harder to change on these cars as the adj. strut tops dont do anything on an R33.. double A arm suspension.. so you need to get bushes or adj. arms etc.. hope this helps!
  17. hmm true but we got around that by using 340mm rotors with big saloon car brakes.... This car stops like nothing else ive been in!!!!!!

  19. meh, shame that.. seems alot safer in the drag spec with the difference in rev limiting.. why run the engine lean when limiting them :confused: i'll still take a std one.
  20. Ive been trying to convince my mate to remove the black stripe from the side of that car for ages..... this might just convince him for me those black rims set that colour off really well, and the lower lip.... any chance i can find out where you got it????

  24. If we get the 20 im IN, any updates on the pro vs the normal?? since the pro version cuts spark at rev limit not fuel! have the cash now so put me down, and if cheap enough the PRO version for: S1 r33 RB25DET!! Cheers
