Thats true and i see your points.. i thought it was strange to get for so high a price! they are nice looking cars when they are done right, but the one we just picked up for $200 had 2 holes in the block of the old 4a, could even see where the rod had done a lap around the sump! bit of rust to fix, but with the right kits they look the goods - better than standard corrolla IMHO rear wheel drive and quick with the right engine! will be looking into toymods alot - most of them have already been modified and high prices from i saw there! Duncan - hook me up with a GTR for $12K !!

i have found 2 already for 4 grand each.. i might be able to get him down if i got both sold at the same time. the guy who is selling these knows how rare they are and will be hard to talk down any! condition of them is unknown as i have not gone to see them, i can check them out if people want and take a few happy snaps of em and check general condition! this guy likes them so much he put an add in the paper to try and find more!!

i was wondering if anyone has removed the butterfly from the second inlet valve for each cylinder? removing that and the shaft that holds them..and bit of a port job... would increase the flow dramatically!!! oh and could you add a second injector into that valve to run 8 injectors, piggy backed off the same cylinder? seems strange separating them like that!

this manifold is for ext gate turbo or not?? pics on [email protected] cheers

i know a guy that is pretty into them, he has a few for sale but as Duncan pointed out they are a bit over priced! we did pick one up with rust for $200 though.. that is the one we are working on now.. wouldn't be hard to put the SR20 into these cars 180xdrifterj... even the rb26 would fit with a bit of work to the front radiatoe support! i have seen one with a 20B cosmo motor in it.. that hauled!!!

how did you re-route the power steer fluid from the rear end?

you can get em repacked, havent found a cheap place as yet, just pack it right up to 95% lock!

nice little tip there i was actually told that a pod filter is ok to have on cars that do not have any polution gear running into the intake etc ... which should mean that with an oil/air separator and pod things should be fine! ask an engineer!

The CA18DET has got a downfall! When revved high for extended periods the pressure builds and forces the oil to build up in the head and cannot run down into the sump quick enough! This can be blocked off like in a stock rb26 since the RB25 can have to same issue.. when this happens look out number 4 cylinder! fixes can be to bore out the return lines from the head, and block one of the supplies!

nah it's got a CA18DET in it! the g/box is longer so had to relocate everything.. running a 7.5" locker diff... goes hard like this.. straight line speed is same as mine on stock boost!

been looking for a smashed s13 sylvia or 180sx with good engine and body damage! any ideas or if anyone see's any let me know! Cheers!
