hehehe yeah i know, but its just sitting there and cant do anything else with it! i had a look a while back, it has a tunnel but not sure if it is big enough to run a tail shaft down! not a hard thing to create a bigger tunnel, have done them before, but hoping that i dont have to do it! fresh, if you find a mag with it coudl you check for me!

Bit of a long shot to post here but here goes. I've got a 99 lancer gl sitting in my back yard, smashed at the front with slight damage to the firewall. Basically this cant be fixed cheaply and has been abandoned by my insurance company (longer story) so i wanna do something with it! plans: since the front right arm is bent tube frame front end with an CA18 or SR20 turbo in it, with conversion to RWD!! just wondering if anyone knows if the chassis of the FWD lancer i the same as an EVO lancer???? just to make things easier and not have to build a new tunnel for it, i have notice that the fuel tank is under the rear seat so this will have to be removed, just hoping that with that removed i can run a tailshaft through! just running a fuel cell in the boot. if any one has seen lancers with similar mods or RWD conversion if they could post links/pics that would be great. this is a weekend job just for a fun track/drift car! any and all suggestions welcome! cheers

does that exhaust temp guage come with the sender?

sounds the same as mine, usaually have 3 leds lit up.. when you are at constant throttle it'll pulse from 1 red to the end of stoich. thats normal.. however read the manual, if its auto meter then the stich level is actually around 12:1 from memory, bit higher than is optimal!

bluepruint is the ford colour used on the BA falcons, as far as i've seen only the xr6 and xr8 have this colour! it is a metalic so does look like it has sparkles!

yeah im pretty sure the twin cam heads do bolt up! just gotta find one! didn't realise the 328i crank would fit though, does this just increase the stroke? wouldn't that drop the engines rev range?

the 325i block and im pretty sure a twin cam head from the 530 will go on,, that something we are looking into but the bmw have a really good bottom end, huge rods, just need some better forgies and decompression then turbo the thing!

so how did you remove the actual lining on the roof? it's reinforced with ply, how does that come out?

i can get my interior out in 3 hours MAX, just havent taken the roof lining out! worst thing is how do you get it out of the car?? looks too wide to fit through the doorway!

i dont think that they are interchangeable from rb20 to rb25... the allignment etc would be off.. however i have a feeling that they would be rather large like the rb25 boxes! someone with an rb20 may be able to confirm! just thought id mention it as it took a fair bit of work to fit a CA18DET into a sprinter, the hole for the gear shift had to be moved back about 100mm, and changed the way the dash sits within the car!
