  1. www.nismo.com.au they are a bit over your budget! especially with all the support systems you'll need!
  2. yeah the bolt on version of the gt3040 from UAS has internal gate and will bolt stright onto the std. manifold ... doesn't have A/R info there though you should give em a call, or email em since your in Brissy

  4. oi..... funny but!
  5. LOL - true but getting it to go fast enough would be the hard thing!! would make a bit of room for the other boats though! oh and turning around to get people might take a little bit of work
  6. he likes the straight roads doesn't he
  7. thats true, how come you didn't make it out on the cruise Buster?
  8. well seeing as the air does not need to be forced through the pipes to the box, perhaps as modified type of u bend (yes like a sink) could be used to trap the water!! atm, i can see where water has entered that area from the holes in the chasis from the original air box!! any other suggestions?
  9. will do Mona
  10. so there are a few more lines out in richmond!! dont really see many when im out and about!!
  11. sweet, been looking for something to seal mine up with.. shame you had to cut into the chasis in the guard there, im just using a CAI from the front bar up into the old hole from the IC!
  12. true, sounds like a good plan Ash... we were near the back, constantly catching up so we'd all slow down and let em in front... then end up catching up again... was an awesome cruise, shame about these little issues and mistakes but it can be hard to avoid sometimes! BIG for the guys that organised this... job well done!
  13. thats cool, hope some of that info helped just wanted to confirm your targets since bhp is at the flywheel, not at the wheels. thats all as SK has confirmed, you can do what your aiming to achieve without opening the engine up.. that was what i was trying to point out, NOS shot will change a few things but if your not running much NOS then a good supply of fuel with the NOS will keep things alive for a while!!
  14. where did you get that insulation matting from? got any photo's of the matting Jay?
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=44435 check that thread about the rb26 internals should answer a few questions! was it 350bhp? or 350rwhp? if looking for about 250 -300 kw at the flywheel, that can be achieved at the wheels on standard internals.. also look here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=44571 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=34717 for results of B-man's setup with GT3040 - around your target power!! there is more out there for you though! good luck with the conversion.. they can get tricky sometimes!
  16. i've got one of the UAS partitions, and havent noticed any reduction in noise after the install! depends on how sealed you make the box and intake ducting, wont get rid of the noise i dont think! nice neat kits, been working well for you the last 2 years Jay95r33??
  17. oh ok, looks like a bit of damaged on Ewen's car, how bad was the 32?
  18. no, would use the power from the lights or a swith. or direct power run by a relay from the head lights... lots of options!
  19. i didn't realise the wombat thing was on this cruise.. nasty!!!! what was up with the silver 32 getting repairs?
