mine still creaks a little, thats with tein HA's though!!

finally installed this guage, it's the white centre wire! and the guage has instructions that show that the stoich is not what we would call a good A/F ratio

try a pop-up stopper or firewall if that doesn't fix it up! more than likely spyware though!

it would be a pain in a55 to change to cross flow, with getting new piping to fit and cross back since the inlet and outlet on the same side, it would increase the cost abit over that of the initial for the radiator!

you may not be able to recore yours, i know mine is in similar condition and went to get it flushed... i was told there was too much stress cracking in the plastic end tanks, if they pulled it apart the force needed may break it completely!! try ABC radiators off mulgoa rd, maccas side of ford dealership in an alley/industrial complex im currently looking for somewhere that will provide just the core in bigger size as i can make my own end tank out of alloy!

My mates racing his Formula Ford, there should be the HQ's, Improved Production (raceworx should be there if everythings fixed) formula Vee and some historics... allways a good weekend! sometimes there formula 4000 there too have to wait and see! it's sat and sun, what else is on?

Ive been to that auto elec before to get my air con regassed and rewired and check out why my car had huge load on the battery.. good blokes but i did most of the work as i had to get the car fixed asap.. strange about your idle screw, mine doesn't have anything stopping it from being adjusted!!

as an addition.... i know that i have a cracked exhaust manifold atm, which is pretty bad, providing alotta noise under load. now i do have an AFR meter installed that shows it go lean on idle and stall.. now this could be caused by the exhaust manifold whixh shows the 02 sensor a wrong figure causing the computer to do something and cause the stall... wont know til i get it fixed but any comments on it would be good !!!!!

Benm, how'd you go with your mechanic? ive had this problem for a long while, but my car doesn't idle at all... not just every now and then.... very annoying! had a look into the fuel pump connections.. there are 2 plugs one with 2 wires, and one with 3 wires... my guess that the 3 wire plug is for the fuel level sender attached to the fuel pump assembly +ve -ve and sender wire.. if thats right then the 2 wire plug is the one we need and i would say it is the black wire! havent looked into it too much more but i will get the multimeter out tomorrow and check it out, and mod it to see!

dont know about it being in melb but www.nismo.com.au or UAS have them and cheaper versions.. check it out degreaser should be fine just make sure you dry it out good before putting it back!! front bar if standard has bolt on each side wheel arch, then 2 bolts each side bolting the impact bar/bumper to the chasis - undo those 14mm socket from memory and slide evenly out!! then 2 bolts on the cooler and hose clamps! good luck
