  1. tried to jumpstart to help, and made no change to the situation!! all dash lights and everything work ok (that dont work if low power)... Has anyone checked theirs before so i can see what a car that is running OK shows at the injector plugs?? oh and does the ignition control the injectors as well as spark?? just incase it's an issue with the alarm!
  2. so how many of these do you have to sell???????? :jk: got a website, or is it only shopfront?

  9. just in case this matters it's a 94 S1 r33 .. cheers
  10. sorry boosted i think i may have been confused last night- and still am.. now i wanna know for sure.. so we've got each wheel which will have a total of 360 degrees... after just having the engine apart, i noticed that the wheel on the crank is much smaller than those on the cams... so when taking into consideration the stages of the engine you would need one revolution of the crank to activate the inlet side cam.. then another to activate the exhaust side... which would mean that the crank has 2 revolutions to the each cam gears one.. so it looks to me now that you were right with 720 crank degrees for each cam... conformation will definately be appreciated!
  11. Hey people, just finished changing my head gasket today.... but the engine wont fire.. comes down to the injectors not actually pulsing.. thus no fuel in the engine. : got spark and fuel to rail, compression is ok and timing is where it was before the change! just need to confirm voltage readings on the injector plugs to isolate the problem! voltages ignition off and on reads : 12.12V on 1st side 6.9V on 2nd side engine turning over: 6.5V on 1st side changes from 2V to 3V on second side one of these should return to 0V to actuate a pulse.. is this correct? have checked earthing points on this loom, are they only located at the front of the plenum (bolted next to the temp sensor unit)? any ideas? all help welcome Cheers Chris
  12. thats nice and simple SK, thanks for the info . i know i'll be using it soon!!!
  13. just to let everyone know - bought a VRS kit from nissan - genuine for $321. had quotes for other brands but were around $350 ... to buy exhaust, inlet and headgaskets from nissan separate were $370 ?? but the kit included : headgasket, metal inlet manifold gasket, top/bottom plenum gasket, exhaust gasket, rocker cover gaskets, cam seals and valve seals!
