  1. OK, just wondering exactly how they are attached to the mirror units? my drivers side vibrates on one side, need to stick it down again, obviously wasn't stuck down very well during compliance!!
  2. i looked at kits in the states, get them for around $400 US, which is a huge difference from say $1300 at autobarn etc. Just giving you another option

  4. check the lower supports for the window, ned to ake out the trim and move the window down til you can get to the bolts. they have white plastic washers under them.

  8. i've got a mate that uses this stuff, his parents are connected to neways somehow! He only recomends it's use in an engine! he has good results within an engine but has had trouble with every gearbox he has put it in! We put it in his Formula Ford on the weekend (gearbox) and since then it actually kicks out of reverse gear, these are all straight cut gears too. Not bagging it just sharing my experience!
  9. Yeah, i finish work at 8am! been doing a graveyard shift for about a year! Kept an eye out today, didn't see you! At least i know what to look out for now You must have fun sitting in that traffic every morning!

  12. I thought the RB26 already had on oil line blocked, and the rb25 had 2 open to the head?
  13. i unplugged mine at one stage, didn't notice anything!!
  14. nah, the electric susp. was only an electronic adjustment of the shocks, soft medium hard! not sure why you would want to avoid it though!

My mate just picked up a passage! they are pretty cool! it's the pintara style with what definately appeared to be the RB20DET, it had the controlable suspension but that was removed for tein coliovers! Some pretty cool features, auto wipers, auto lights, pillarless is definately cool! nice electric everything interior! still go really well, a nice kit would set these right off!!!!
  16. fair enough, didn't realise that! i stand corrected Elithrar! so that would suggest that maybe just the exhaust etc is putting it up more with better flow! still doesn't explain a boost increase on engine side of the throttle body.
  17. 7psi is stock boost so there is something controlling your boost! have you still got the standard boost guage connected? if so does that peak as well?
  18. dont think it would be anything to do with the BOV, since you would be getting your reading from the plenum, and the BOV is on the other side of the throttle body! does it stay up there or just go up then drop off to vacuum?
  19. just that my standard guage reads what would be 3.5 in those readings, im running 11psi!
  20. your boost guage is in PSI?
  21. sounds right jay! once the pod goes on and removes alot of restriction it will let the turbo spin easier! happened to me when my pod broke open! started pushing 16PSI in and boost cut came on hard, similar things to what you've described bobby^ turn the boost down!

  23. he drives the sprinter, but my other mate raced the HQ series last year! The Hq driver is now just prepping up for the state formula ford chapionship! first race is 13/14 march so we've got a lot of testing and track time to do before then! Brad has only driven those MG's in the chance of a lifetime, level 3, he came 6th in the final, Matt came 9th i think! Brad was definately quicker in the second race coming back up 5 positions after being hit in turn one! He's used to wet conditions though which helps, as he actually drives modifieds at parra speed way most weekends!
  24. Duncan, only one of the guys raced on the weekend .. Brad Lowe in the MG's. since this was not part of the series my other mate saved his money!! The 110 car was having engine troubles so it was struggling down the straights, but he went well, awsome race to watch! ended up coming third, after a big spin on turn one! You probably know Matt thats running the woo's this year. He was one of the winners in last years w500!
  25. they are a good series! have one mate doing the daewoos and one doing the MG's! Duncan, you know the guy doing the daewoo's he raced in the wakefied 500 last year!!! the mg's had their pre series race on the weekend, supporting the konica's! the competition seems like it'll make an interesting year!
