  3. im with GiJOr33, its what i used for mine!
  4. what about tyres, alot of vibrations actually come from either not balanced or flat spots! alignment will cause funny tracking on the road and uneven wear more that vibrations!

  11. the fuse is on the left side about 6 or so up from the bottom!! also if your hazard light's switch plug isnt in properly they will not work!! oh and the fuse is a red 15amp
  12. cheers redback!
  13. i had no front number plate on for about 8 months or so, without a hitch! besides the occaisonal RBT unit guy jumping up and down as i drove past but then it caught up with me, 2 defects for it in a month! only got $74 fines and no points!! easy, but they looked so much better without them on
  14. I've got a second hand bride fixed bucket seat rail, with slide mechanism etc also has multiple height tilt positions! asking for $250 ONO
  15. well i discovered on the weekend that a coke can is just the right size to use as a mould for the 2 5/8" guages, so i've just gotta make that then cut it down to size, then mould onto dash panel!! Memphis, i realise fibreglass is not really the best match with plastic, hoping that if i have fibre glass molded on both side of the dash panel then it will remain strong enough not to crack away!! anyideas on the glue needed? just in case
  16. has anyone actually used fibreglass on these panels, i am molding some guages into my dash, just thought i'd ask before i make the first attempt!! while on this subject has anyone got examples of modified dash areas? some pics of these would be great, any inspiration would help but ive pretty much committed myself to my design!!
  17. the JMS R33 has a black bonnet too!! http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/newpromocars.html
  18. Not too sure if this point is valid but would likie some confirmation on one thing, if your installing the malpassi to increase fuel pressure on the rail shouldn't it replace the standard one? if the standard is there wouldn't it override the efforts of the malpassi? some ideas would be good! Cheers
  19. yeah they are a good thing to have, mine was stalling before i had the plumbback attached, only cost me $100 bucks but i think that was a bit dear when look at what was done!! glad your happy with it though!
  20. any one know if this thread was updated before the lost data? just incase i missed an update on the system!!
  21. there is about 4-5 screws holding it in! you have to take the 2 off the bonnet release ( make sure you look carefully at how this bit works can be tricky to get back in right) then 2 under neath at the bottom of the panel!! you cant get into the side (next to the head deck etc) without taking the whole dash out! but those cables do have to make it right up towards the steering column, so they will be there!
  22. you would need to use a 600 grid paper/ from what im doing on my dash it seems to be coated with a layer of matt black so will need to remove that, then for prepping you'll need a spray primer, but you may need to get one for plastic OR that is actually flexible. good product is plasti prime -> about 30 bucks for a can, added with thinners, sprayed on with a spray gun! then rub that back with 600 wet/dry and then paint!! spray cans should work if you dont think you'll be needing to remove the panels again as it will crack when you put on/ take off! Can buy an flex additive to paint but wont be able to use pressure packs ( unless specially made in a colour matching place - see if they can add the flex stuff) this may help, i'll be getting mine finished in next couple of weeks too!
  23. ummm *pop* means what? did it actually sound like a pop, or did it overheat? or did you see the steam./smoke? well most mechanic should be able to test the gas from the radiator to confirm the blown head gasket!! give em a call and then limp the car down there if you can
  24. Well the standard dump pipe isn't thermal coated or have the thermal wrap! so no doingthis should cause any further issues, but if you can do it, then bringing down under bonnet temps may give you more power! my dump pipe is HPC coated and does a fair bit for bringing down the temps!!!
  25. perhaps the caster rod bush is gone! would have some grease around if it did split! what about that shock, is the car lowered? maybe the shock is gone and bottoming out? all guesses of course!
