I doubt you'll have any issues about getting used to the car running after you stop! if it has a turbo timer then there will be no hassles as you wont be able to forget cause the timer will always work when you turn the car off!!
SO, in saying that, if you have a turbo timer, then if you do manage to stall it after a high rpm run then the turbo timer will keep it going anyway, therefore no issue!!!
but even if you did stall it without a TT as long as it is restarted then given time to cool down, there "shouldn't" be any issues with the seals in the turbo!!
