i found that the easiest way to get to the bolts was the undo the hose clamp for the afm, unplug afm then put it on a bench and use 2 sockets, HEAPS easier!!!!! GL

inside or out? can you see it if you put something black behind it? if you cant see it, may need to fill it with silicon, then tint it anyway! might be very hard to fix up, try calling or going to a windscreen centre!!

i put all mine onto the dimmer wire and bypassed the dimmer, therefor they will never be dim!!! nice and close to the guages!!

the fixed buckets are obviously not ADR approved!! especially not BRIDES but would it be worth just getting the brackets modified? Will have to find ther HPI issue where they are fixing the one in the HPI R34, anyone got it handy!!??

You could try ADVAN in silverwater!! www.advan.com.uk they are supposed to be the greddy/trust importers for australia etc. they should be able to source that adapter for you

The coolant i used was a concentrate and could be mixed OR used straight giving different boiling points!!! So i just used it straight, but im sure there would have been some left in the engine etc, but less is better by the sounds of things!!

does anyone know if the apexi filter on the site posted above is a oiled filter or paper type?

down to bare metal will end up costing more in product since you will have to prime the whole lot, and if going 2K then it's around $50 a litre for primer, plus $30-$50 for hardener just for that, would need about 3 litres for light coat, or to fix minor imperfections need about 3-5 litres!!! plus rubbing all that back then spray!!! i did mine recently, did all the work myself then got it sprayed!! cost me about $1800!! took 3 months to prep but!! details and more info here Respray Thread and click link in sig for results!! could save you about $3K all up!!

51jay, i'm sure jimx was referring to the square hole on the top of the overflow bottle, overflow for the overflow i had 3 litres blow of that hole at a track day, temp stayed at 3/4 the whole time too.... lucky !!!

kits are just OK, badges are wrong!!! i could never put a badge on that wasn't actually my car etc.. GTR or STI- on standard wrx problem is that it's not always the driver, have seen at least one car yard that all it's gtst's had GTR badges on them...

basically from what ive seen the Z32 AFM has a greater range of output/signal and the power fc allows you to tune using this signal range!!! do a search for more specific info!!!

you will have to rewire it, however it will only work if you have the apexi power FC

man i gotta subscribe to hpi, hate hearing about this in it i haven't seen!!! anyway, i was thinking of this turbo too! didn't see the special on it though!!! this special takes almost $400 bucks off, should bring the turbo setup down to just over $4K!! wish i had the money plus the $3K+ for support systems!!! plus upgraded pistons for over 250 rwkw????? expensive to be sure!! any ideas on the power difference between using this turbo on RB25, and the RB30/25 setup? sydneykid?
