  4. Thought i would post some photo's of the respray i just had done! Just thought i could show what kind of result can be achieved for a resonably low price!! Thats if you have the time and patience to do the work yourself!! This spray cost me about $1800 dollars, only having to pay for the paint, painter, and booth!! doing all the prep work myself! took me 3 months to prep up while i had lost my licence! colour is Blue Print from ford, with full cover of gold pearl, with a base coat of white! All done in PPG 2PAK! Big thanks to Rays Panel and paint in seven hills for the booth, Andrew From Bathurst for the spray, and Suttons holden for the paint! Let me know you think!! ps the stripes are actually gold pearl, but the compression of the photo's to get them to fit took most of it out!! first photo is before!!
  5. well the GTR N1 hasn't got a heater
  6. true, but to rebuild these would be these same all up as new ones, but if they are good, you get a really mad bargain!!! better gamble then pokies i reckon
  7. thats a pretty mad deal!!! i make the gtst twin turbo for that price!! so is it just a guy, or is it a business?
  8. yeah mines been dead for over a year just got a new core on order from japan through UAS! still waiting for that to come in, will post a walkthrough and some pics if you still wanna do it yourself!! heard it is easier that the Zeds to do!! had the dash off for the respray, only hard part is getting it over the steering wheel, but you just take that off too!!!
  9. main problem is if they move in and out, as there will always be up/down movement!! where you getting them from? approx cost? wouldn't mind getting something like this!
  10. pretty sure its refering to Croydon Racing Developments www.croydonautosports.com.au
  11. yeah she been a bit tight since i finished the respray- was sitting there for almost 4 months!! diff going to get it too!!!
  12. But it's always fun watching a copper smoken it up in front of your as they turn around to bust someone for something else and they love it too! but then again who wouldn't
  13. fair enough man, thinking of giving it a go!
  14. so benm, know anyone out in penrith? or closer to there than Croyden
  15. Very Cool, nice and rice but wouldn't mind one anyway!
  16. they look like single spot brakes! totally different design than the GTST-, oh well, yeah just hit them with rust convertor, clean them up with degreaser and thinners, then paint them up! just be careful as heat proof paint needs to get hot the set properly, so you'll need to be careful when putting the wheels back on etc, then take her for a blast to heat up the calipers then let em cool off.... all done
  17. Have you tried the local wreckers or even not local wreckers. eg justjap (sydney) and JMS (adelaide) etc there might be some R32's in for sale section wrecking!! or you might have found all this since it was posted, good luck
  18. the HICAS ECU is bolted UNDER the parcel tray. Correct? i have a similar grey box in a bracket mounted above the strut top on the parcel tray, which i unplugged when changing the suspension and failed to plugged back in for a week or so. Didn't notice any changes or problems, is this the box your referring to silver1992?
  19. aftermarket wheel or standard?
  20. the only way they can get you is if they can prove that it was intentional! but you may have to fight it in court, but easy out was to stop for orange/red signal as going through them is also an offence!!! but you have to fight it, a mate of mine got done for doing a burnout is his brothers sprinter!! the fine said that it was spinning the front wheels, pretty funny seeing it is a rear wheel drive car!!! thats what having p plates on your car does to coppers
  21. the only thing i know about the process is the when putting it back in you should angle the engine up at the front to allow the gearbox to go back in easier and less chance of damage!!
  22. im with NA_R33, so it's either My Baby or the Datsun! just cause a mates dad still though datsun was Nissan. Meh
  23. that seems strange that i had 3 1/4 ", full FMIC, and pod and mine still ran stock 7psi right through the rev range, is this normal? most people tend to see a boost increase with these mods!!
  24. well in Japan they have a differne type of gas than is used over here!! the aircon can be filled with normal gas no worries, just have to pay extra to dispose of the old gas!! But should have been swapped over during compliance!
  25. i think he's refering to the restrictor that reduces the size of the fuel opening so it only fits australian unleaded fuel pumps!!! have seen similar issues with my filler, get alot of gases coming out when i first start the car, once on a hot day after filling it up, i parked and fuel actually came out and flowed down the inside of the guard and went everywhere! was even on a slop!!!
