  1. you simply incorporate baffling around the pickup, creating an internal surge tank - same principal to a sump baffle system
  2. when its cold start it up and have someone put their hand over the exhaust tip to "seal" it - should create enough pressure to hear if a gasket is leaking in the engine bay
  3. hair dryer to try and evaporate the moisture? dont melt shit though lol
  4. price is required by forum rules location would be handy
  5. i'll take it if you are willing to drop it off to me in St Leonards
  6. 2 cans of paint stripper = $20 $15 for a tub of metal polish the end tanks are cast, so you would need to sand them back then sand them back then sand them back then polish = $20 worth of sand paper at max + alot of your time time is free ??? ps factory intercoolers are "edit : NOT" defectable so you dont need to worry about that part. lol funny how leaving out a word or 2 letters causes a stir
  7. seems to be 143cm from hub to hub if anyone has the dimensions of the mounting points of the subframe i would appreciate them.
  8. signal -> signal 12V -> 12V both grounds -> ground
  9. i've removed 5 now with the 3 jaw pullers without damage to the balancer, so it can be done without damage i just get it as far back on the HB as possible using the longer side of the arms
  10. was wondering if anyone has the dimensions from Hub to Hub and front to rear for the R33 or R32 rear subframe/suspension. from what i gather the GTR and GTST are dimensionally the same so either is fine. not going to give away too much as to what its for at this stage but if anyone has one removed from a car atm or knows offhand where i could get them etc it would be great this can be either at full droop/full compression or ride height Cheers
  11. what i would do : use rubber bungs for the small round holes then get 2 pieces of alloy cut to the oval shape of the larger hole - bolt them together through the opening so that it can be removed later. using a small amount of foam or rubber to act as a seal to the panel
  12. how are you planning to balance the tailshaft once you weld it up?
  13. you can get motorised power steering columns to replace the power steering racks if need be - only about $200 aswell

    Autoclave

how much that set you back? what are you going to use to vacuum the bags onto the parts before entering the clave? got a big fridge for pre-preg dry carbon panels? so many possibilities lol
  15. you can go to 6.1 Litres NA in a 1280kg r32 gtst - 5.1L turbo/supercharged http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...ns_nov_2007.pdf page 3
  16. really nice install only thing is the strut brace looks like it needs more bracingfrom those vertical pieces to the strut top plate
  17. what way too expensive shadow chrome??
  18. personally i would use nut-serts/rivnuts to bolt the panel down and seal it with a stick on foam seal but yes sikaflex will create a strong bond and comes in caulking tubes from supercheap etc

you'll be horrified at the price of new GTR blinkers - so try 2nd hand or yahoo auctions think justjap and unique autosports sell the original blinkers - get them without the black grille backing also nismo.com.au has them ay $180 a side
  20. thought about R33 gtst seats? much wider in the back area and are adjustable for lumbar/squeeze from teh side bolsters - super cheap only down side is they are about 25mm higher than 32 GTR seats so if head room is already a concern these wont be for you

im about to change my setup - putting fog lights in those holes and making some custom LED blinkers to go elsewhere - so basically you can do what you like, but if you want the bar and dont want to get tricky - GTR blinkers or trailer lights

the blinkers go in the round holes either side of the intercooler - GTR blinkers work, or trailer lights...
  23. inside rail on the skyline seats are 25mm higher (closer to seat) than the outside rail if the WRX ones arent staggerd like this it will make them more difficult to mount - but not impossible.
  24. that flexible stuff is a real pain to work with and get a smooth paint job - stuff tends to flex as you sand it
