  2. dont use oven cleaner - they are cuastic and will east paint fast. great for cleaning baked on oil under rocker covers though

    get one of the face shields, like a welding helmet but clear. may look silly, but stops shit getting up your nose and in your mouth and eyes lol

  10. be easier if you took shots of the exhaust side of each block and the front face too. then comments can be made and you can log them to each block but yes, there are differnces in the turbo drain return, and front tensioner locations etc

  17. exactly also means that you can touch up the primer if you happen to rub through
  18. spray teh primer at your house mate, wet the floor and go for it call obriens, they come to you to remove windows then once its primed and sanded, plastic sheet the car on teh trailer and tow it there, then tow back once its painted and dried. 2 x 4 hour hires should fix you up that way thats how i did my car.
  19. you think your altmeter would be good enough to pick up 0.1V ??? tried jump starting it? as dimming lights suggest a power supply issue - or it could be a bad earth
  20. this stuff dissolves in acetone, so its easy to remove from the inside of your new plug too.

  22. steel bits will work on both, there are alloy bits out there too with a bigger toothing to stop them clogging, dont get these for steel.
  23. i'd do it after you have trial fitted the conversion engine into the engine bay, get all that welding and wiring and shit sorted, then pull the motor out and shave everything then paint. might as well if you going all out on a conversion.
  24. changed the plugs? lights staying on on the dash as you crank it?
