  1. this pipe should be hooked up to the stock boost guage sender.
  2. haha thats good news, i was freaken out for ya
  3. isnt the boost hose line from the balancing tube the TB's bolt onto - been a loong while since i looked at a 26det
  4. nice work deren! i dont want to be a pain, but in that bolt pic, it looks like rust on the re-enforcement panel from the firewall to the strut tower. might just be the light and angle or dirt. i like the look of the cup washers instead of just a bolt head - incase you havent seen or heard of them before
  5. definately ensure the pipes arent touching that compressor cover, ceramics will transfer heat through anything touching them, just less radiated heat to non contact items.
  6. yep i did Sl!m's covers ages ago, it went orange after a few months
  7. lol - fine but if you walk into a proper paint shop and ask for QM1, you will get it
  8. does this new kit use the stock reo bar for behind the bumper? if not, needs engineering of the replacement
  9. 6" DA sander if you have one is perfect for sanding back lettering
  10. i would go to a proper paint outlet protec is pretty good paint for 2k finishes - not sure if they do acrylic or enamel here are some VIC suppliers http://www.protec.com.au/www/455/1001127/d...le/1001238.html
  11. your concerns are valid, you will need to look at the VICroads website - they have listed the engineering signaturies in VIC who are authorised to make these certifications. It is your best bet, as i wouldnt want to try and return that to stock before hitting the pits haha
  12. oh look, thanks to Ferni and the r33 heater replacement guide and if your is bypassed, it might look like this
  13. if you have a difital camera, take a photo of the rear passenger side of the motor and the firewall behind it ( photo from front of car) that will show if its bypassed.
  14. if they arent connected, it means your heater core has ruptured and the last owner bypassed the heater core to be able to keep driving the car. but you didnt answer my other questions, so its hard to tell if you dont help us help you. tried pressing the re-circulation button?
  15. has it ever worked since you bought the car? also check the passenger side firewall for a couple of brown plastic tubes poking out without any hoses on them.
  16. nengun have them - greenline might also
  17. in the middle? by that i take it as the 2 seals between the halves of the caliper itself. for the pistons to sieze the actual seal inside the pistons bore would need replacing. its $90 for a rebuild kit for the front of an r33 gtst
  18. take some closer shots of it but no, i dont think there arent any carbon fibre "patch" kits - but yes you could roughen the surface adn apply a new layer of the surfboard resin as per the carbon overlay thread in the fabrication section.
  19. Nice touches with the colour coded backing plate, cas and brake booster
  20. you'll need to explain where it doesnt fit, to determine what you have and why it doesnt fit,
  21. yep, they are a compliance head - you will have damaged valves as a minimum
  22. wreckers? ebay? for sale section on this forum?
  23. try these guys too then : www.blackneedle.com (haha website is a bit ) We have just moved..... Our New address is... Unit 16 37-47 Borec Rd Penrith 2750 Our new Number is... 4722 5333 i know they do work on retrimming seats with premade covers so should be used to it.
  24. i powdercoated them red lip uses the lip of the rim, didnt need to mask anything as i can wipe the black powder off the red before curing the black coat. alot of work though, definately not the cheapest option due to the extra baking and prep work required.
  25. satin yellow? looks different, but a clean job judging by that pic.
