  1. you would need to look into the makeup of the paint, gloss reducer in most paints is simply a white powder in a liquid - hence the white dust look that can come about after a while in the weather ... if it wont do that then this is looking like a better way to seal in a satin finish - as you can have a full gloss basecoat to seal then the matt/satin clear.
  2. runs fine -- lean -- over rich --- detotanation -- boom and maybe not in that order the whole idea is to increase resolution as the inlet airflow is increased, so you have tunability throughout the rev range and flow potential of the turbo in that space. to use it you need some thing tunable, so make the most of what ever the setup is.
  3. looks like its moved at least a foot over to teh drivers side if its a correctly made exhaust. sitting directly under the drive shaft is ridiculous.
  4. 710 : Mobil 1 - but more expensive plugs - BCPr6ES - http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sp...&hl=bcpr6es fuel filter - cant recall the number of the top of my head, but just ask you local repco or something - if unsure - its teh same as the Z32 300zx, just without the 90 degree bend on the outlet.
  5. once you max the AFM to 5V the rest is just guessing ... you can do it, but should you?
  6. could just get your current ones Dipped like 2guup did on teh rb26 covers.
  7. where in NSW are you? be a helpful detail lol high mount? low mount? piping size? AFM retained? std airbox or pod? plumback BOV? plumb back catch can or std breathers?

  11. nice and neat, well done - but this is what you do for a living wheres the other fitting going?
  12. i pulled the figure out of the air,, simply since in NSW "any modification that would affect these crashworthiness safety standards should only be made on the advise of the vehicles original manufacturer or an engineering signatory" so unless you get it engineered - it is illegal.
  13. hahhaha ofcourse you feel it when you open it, there is a major difference in the gtst V GTR bonnt but not worth much when driving
  14. 99% of fibreglass bonnets are defectable/illegal stock = stronger FG = lighter and vented neither will warp in teh heat if made correctly. weight you wont really feel any difference.
  15. what ? its gone up again ? thought it was only $90 for teh day and $50 for a licence. - guess not VV SPEED OFF THE STREET DAYS o Drive your own street car $110.00 per day or road bike $120 per day (week days) o Australian Autosport Alliance licence $50.00 (annually) o Helmet hire available for $20 per day with a $50 Deposit
  16. water leak sounds normal. leave that Hot/cold air - vent is behind the washer/wiper stalk - need to remove most of the dash facing to check it washer bottles is a Large white bottle behiond the drivers headlight - hidden under the lip of teh guard next to that is the radiator over flow if you still confused, post a bigger shot of your engine bay
  17. but - you reseal them once you are done unless you dont do it well it shouldnt leak, definately clean off teh old selanat and use new sikaflex.
  18. standard FPR is fine!
  19. define high heat, then an answer can be provided look into auto-claving - used with vacuum mnolds and pre-preg carbon fibre - AKA how a ferrari is built. you cant do that at home, but it will tell you the curing temps. also - you can powdercoat fibreglass if its done correctly - so it can handle 230 deg C atleast
  20. haha awesome
  21. is that just "looking" like is connected to that std airbox? or was it lol
