  1. cant wait to see it all back in one piece some updates after your install work tonight
  2. 7mm/hg is 14psi SO airflow protection - some call it boost cut. rather savage usually, drop the boost down to about 11psi and you should be sorted. if the pod is boxed, then check the filter is still in place. partial throttle keeps the boost down so this R&R wont happen
  3. not bad for a commodore 8 push in inserts are nice, saves welding and less permanent - what they worth each? since a weld on is about $7
  4. sounds like its over boosting, near 7 on the stock guage when flat stick?
  5. Z32 Air flow meter wont work with a standard ECU
  6. yeah pics will be easier - but the twill pictured in the first post is all held in place by the resin .. no need for glue.
  7. 33 parkers face a fair bit forward. should be ok if you angle the leds correctly its good enough for an EL falcon
  8. not much if you do it yourself - $30 for a fibreglass repair kit from bunnings - and patience
  9. cant help with the kit, but thats fibreglass and could be fixed easily enough
  10. so i need a new switch and is that causing the flashing to work incorrectly or maybe are the globes in the parkers not using enought current so it thinks the globe is blown and flashes fast????? ^^^ id say its that - put a resistor between the +ve and -ve i've been thinking about this myself, i'll go with a custom LED so both the parkers and the indicators work.
  11. tomei headlight cover ?
  12. thanks to Duncans signature i has found this thread im coming, Sam .... why hast thou not already added me to this fine thread's Coming list?? im definately driving this one!!!!!!!!!! better get the backup car ready too then HAHAHA (some people may remember why this is funny)
  13. looks like a vacuum leak on the air assisted clutch master - pull the hose off from the plenum and see if its cracked.. if it is, order in a new pipe from nissan or try to find something similar from your local auto parts.
  14. coated up some cam covers for the silver car now to find some time to install them
  15. if its what i think you are referring to, they are just braided sleeves to make your hoses LOOK braided.
  16. been using solar for ages no where near as compact as that, but it can charge 2 batteries at once easily and costs nothing after you buy it trickle, bulk and float charging is all automated dependant on the voltage level when you hook it up. max charge to 14.5V even when the panel is making 18+V anyway - i still need to hook up a quick disconnect/connect arrangement outside of the car.
  17. yousa shiney sparkly sammeh! lol **happybirthdaywithballoonsandshit**
  18. sprinter boot isnt it? mate made one for his brothers ae86 running the 1JZ - curved surge tank to match the wheel well and had the lines exiting the side of the well, then sealed up. 33 boots are not round like the pic above, they are more square and have a step in them that would make the use of a single sheet to cover it bulky.
  19. pretty sure Holden are the PPG distributers in AUS - so start there
  20. Dahtone Racing know some chromers or there is the bronzing studio in castle hill
  21. call Tooheys, maybe they can organise a relay for you
  22. beautiful smell though yep, its carcinogenic so suit up if you are doing it yourself
  23. yep it can be done - heat for curing 2 pak paints isnt that high , just put it in a small room with a heater on plenty of people have custom brushed helmets in the go-cart scene
  24. yes i would - swap it with a mechanical water temp or oil pressure or oil temp - as the dash water temp guage cannot be trusted to be accurate, this is if you want to go to a track day one day.
  25. thats a hell of a lot of work. new sills, new jam - new rear 1/4 - almost new roof required too - if the frame rails arent bent to shit then it could be fixed, but i dont think 10k is too bad . better to part that out and buy a new one.
