  3. read a few posts up, they can be had cheaper - im not sure why i keep replying to this thread though. if you have seen these cores and how they are setup, there is no fixing them NATRAD radiator shop $275 - alloy core $345 - copper core NISSAN $365 5 years ago the info is there, by all means try to get it fixed, but it would cost more than just getting another core. for the cost of 3 tanks of fuel - you get your heater back in the middle of winter. up to you i guess

  5. i thought the BNR32 had a standard ps cooler.. are you thinking of Banjo bolts? if so, then yep enzed/pirtek etc will be the place for you
  6. that is everything, only thing they dont come with is the 2 plastic tubed sections, you need to re-use the ones on the car now - each held on with 4 litle screws

  8. just bought a new core from a NATRAD shop - $275 normal car carpet cleaning foam spray should be fine once its dried - should get rid of the smell the coolant leaves too.
  9. If the R34 speed sender in like the 33 electronic one, the speed goes to the Dash first, then is sent to the ECU. so your dash should be working unless they changed the Gearbox.
  10. best suggestion i can give is : search in the for sale (parts and accesories) section. bound to be someone selling rb25 stdcams after an upgrade. or if you have non std ECU or a SAFC or something, upgrade the cams if you are going to be modding the car a little later - around $900 - $1200
  11. 9:1 seems pretty low for an NA motor. i'd go rb26 TB's and trumpets think it might be Blitz that sell the conversion plates - not 100% but can be had what cam duration and lift you thinking of going?
  12. thats gotta hurt, from getting a plenum fixed to broken cam. any ideas on the cause yet?

If the power steering is hooked up, then i would just space it out. do a search in the R33 RB30 conversion thread under forced induction for some idea on how to space it out, similar problem for RB30 guys running an rb26 harmonic balancer. (i wouldnt buy a 32 GTR ps pump as they are modded more to run non-hydrolic HICAS - which may or may not be working now for you) GTR ECU wont be able to control the TCS anyway, so no point trying to hook it up, it also runs infront of the TB which sorta wouldnt work easily with the RB26 intake manifold and 6 TB's. apexi power intake kit comes with the metal piping from the AFM to the filters. good luck!
  14. apexi power intake kit will sort out your filters (nengun or greenline onlie stores - maybe ebay - search ) taped off intake looks to be the BOV return that isnt hooked up. have a look under the drivers side guard to see if they retained the std GTR BOVs RB26 power steering pump required - or modifiy the PS pump bracket to fit it. as for "Let's see, the "TCS" light and "slip" light stay on all the time. Along with the "(ABS)" light and "HICAS" light. The car had HICAS on it but it now has a HICAS delete so I'm sure that has something to do with some of them, but l'm also pretty sure there has to be a way to solve this." TCS is only available on the r34gtt - so with the rb26dett there isnt any TCS controller
  15. go old school, spray CRC into the intake and see if it wants to fire, if so, look at fuel check to ensure fuel lines are the correct way around. check for spark by earthing the plug to the head and cranking...
  16. just a little bit of inf0 - Cam covers/rocker covers are alloy so they wont "rust" but you can get white oxidisation on them. clear coating will seal them, but also reduces the shine of the polishing.
  17. r32 or r33? im confused @ extractors ... are you using the std rb25det exhaust manifold ? is the chipped ECU tuned for the GTR injectors? they are 440cc from memory so will be giving alot more fuel than std ones.

  22. plenum will be rough paper first as the casting is large cam covers would start at 400 grit ' have a look at the polishing thread in the fabrication section.

Perhaps they simply named it nismo instead of N1 - do we know what N1 stands for? nismo is nissan's motorsport division (Nissan Motorsport International Limited) use the pic as you will...
  24. yes yes it will jolt and try to twist. removing the spark plugs will reduce this and allow the motor to spin easily, but this will affect the actual reading on the guage. you want all cylinders within an equal reading, the number it shows can be inaccurate
  25. has it got a gearbox on it? if so just use a battery to the starter motor
