  1. more info will be needed regarding teh type of seat, and current rail configuration pics are worth more, especially of the seat mounting points and these brackets. lots of seats have different setups, so it is hard to even start trying to explain options

pete Hare and Forbes (www.machineryhouse.com.au) has Swage and jenny's with 175mm throat for 0.7mm mild steel for $395 they are in northmead
  3. im curious about the use of the RHS - how does tyhis material go in the view of engineering? i whould have thought that a seamless material would be required. Look great and im sure you have checked that out, im just curious for more info if you can pass it along.
  4. well good to see it works now without driving you insane lol yeah last resister i used i had in series for LED's, but sounds correct in parrallel as it simulates a higher drain accross the circuit.
  5. the matt finish will rub off leaving shiny plastic - most people just sand it off and repaint it all
  6. well a misshift will not usually damage a Diff, but your engine wont like it. this would have been better in the Drivetrain forum, but if it blew completely then you would not be moving forward, it is possible that its slipping more than before and single wheeling if you get wheelspin.
  7. someone in the other "skyline" panel thread in fabrication section just posted pics of the rear panel painted white - see if it looks red enough for you
  8. i remember reading somewhere about what bluegts is asking - someone welded steel onto the Block arounda water gallery then had it decked - apparantly there was only a small amount of overlap between the water gallery and the edge of the block..
  9. just saw a picture recently of someone having theirs in the centre console --- it doesnt need to be in its normal location, or even seen.
  10. you might need to play around with the resistances required - go to a jaycar and have a chat to them about it, you can buy smaller resisters that wire inline with the power, should fix it up.
  11. LED lights will require a resister to increase the load on the circuit to normalise the blink rate any shop that sells premade LED kits can get you a resister pack (or make your own)
  12. well white and red make pink you leave the letters clear
  13. brembo's have very tough coatings and undercoats - paint stripper is a must on them if you can get a good shot of the brembo writing in a jpg form, convert to vector graphics format its easy to get any sticker/vinyl shop to make them
  14. hang with wire through a bolt hole
  15. jenkies, i have the VHT gold on my 33 atm too, looks good but im in the process of upgrading to a candy gold powdercoat. VHT definately is a cheap good looking upgrade and yeah i remember prepping them without removing them from the car lol - lots of effort
  16. PT - did you get these done yet? i spent today doing a test run on my daily driver lancers brakes as they needed a rebuild so i figured i'd powdercoat them at the same time.
  17. Greddy - plazmaman - CPC plenums all run them i think you'll find that you wont have any control over the revs for aircon and cold start - but it should still idle
  18. ecu controls cold start enrichment - but it still needs the steppers to control air flow at idle
  19. front and back screw together - this would be the seal between light and chassis
  20. dont knwo what you mean by smoother with less layers - you can get satin clears too got any close ups of the colour?
  21. aww maannn lol that was a good site with a how to for making molds of body panels i'll see if i can find another like it - meercat i think made a mold for a guage pod
  22. looks great and holy crap that throttle body is heaps far forward just a question about the over flow fro teh radiator - why 2 nipples at the bottom? and what vents it when it gets filled, im guessing this is what one of the nipples is for, but they are usually vented from the top.
  23. so they will be going back on once coated ... sooo i'm confused. are you asking if you can use the d jetro with them all inplace or with them removed for good?
  24. they do look sweet hand sanding is fine if the coating will stand up to the temps for the cure. cant wait to get my new oven setup so i can start doing some rims where they clear coated aswell?
