  1. pics - try resizing them so they arent so large or use the attach option under more options. so this was an off the shelf item you adapted? post up some details of what you did
  2. PCV that is retained normally- but you can either get teh hole welded up, or use a plug on it from clark rubber or something.
  3. blasting is used to both clean off old coatings that may not survive the curing process as well as to etch the surface to improve the adhesion of the coat. they look great Al, im suprised they didnt strip them first though.
  4. back seats are no no's while a cage is in place.. though it does let you legally engineer fixed buckets
  5. his = using the hole for the VCT solenoid to feed the oil (no drilling of the head) way he wont do = not feed any oil at all by skipping the drill and tap or not using his method His method is great if you dont run std cams OR if you dont run cams that are designed for VCT motors (IE. poncams are designed to retain VCT)
  6. yep - setup fees are always the killer

  8. lol @ transmission fuel Heres a DIY from the DIY section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ch...&hl=gearbox
  9. start the car in the morning, then get someone to put there hand over the tailpipe to block it while you listen in the general area of the "popping" - this should elt you hear any leaks in the exhaust. Backfires and popping screwed my new cat a while back, shattered the rear brick and it shifted in the housing causing a huge restriction and performance loss.
  10. also check for fuel leaks in the engine bay similar issues here from a leaky FPR fitting - also check your plugs
  11. have a search in the DIY section for AAC valve cleaning
  12. yes they do, but that doesnt make them good in the wet better off going for a tyre like the kuhmo ecsta obviously this would be better in the "Suspension, braking and tyres " subforum
  13. also depends on what tube your going for, im pretty sure you can use seemless steel, but with a thicker wall .. you need to read your rule book - im guessing ANDRA - to get exactly what materials you need.. and to ensure what you already have is still usable.
  14. doubt you'll find anyone that will sell you the kit to do yourself Ethan, gcg etc will rebuild them though
  15. Chris, Dont forget to check your bolt length once you put these spacers in, you want enough thread in the holes. also you should remove the rubber seal from accross the plastic shroud in that area to increase the area letting air in/out. -im with drift pig, but yeah you can only try it out and see if it works for you.
  16. nice one Thomas

haha thats handy to know - cheers
  19. as long as there is no sharp edges that can cut your tyres it should be fine, you would need to roll and bead the edge of the cut area ... and dont forget to rust prevent the cut
  20. yep, wheel arches are cut out since they will normally rub on any tyre big enough to fill out the bolt on guards.
  21. looks like a screw on top type LED bank from autoone/autopartsworld/bursons etc

  23. where are you located? might help people to suggest workshops local to you that could help you out. Sumps arent too difficult to modify, but can be pricey, show us a pic of the sump you have, you might be able to get it welded up to remove the front shafts like is done with the GTR sumps
  24. push in LED replacements are available at most auto parts shops - T10 i think they are
