    Bonnet

no shield on mine for last 6 years - no bubbling no fading - even after numerous trackdays if it looks like shit - take it off
  10. do a search for clear gelcoat polish on google and see if you can get info on what you can use i doubt many of these bonnets are painted clear - most dont even use a UV stable resin.
  11. im not sure how the sr20's are in this area, but the step down on the oil breather i would avoid - reduce anychance of a restriction pressurising the motor - rb25's dont like too small piping on the breathers
  12. looks good how long has it taken to fab up all this gear?
  13. so very very close, just gotta get a cap for the drain back and a filter, then give her a polish. should be able to show off a finished one on sunday
  14. this might be closer - but is that a bad thing? Charcoal metallic
  15. what about a smoke chrome ?
  16. about -20 at idle is correct i'll let the others get you for the atmo BOV - dont fight it
  17. what throttle body you planning to run? Greddy i think is setup for the Q45 - and you need an adapter for the std one Plazmaman is setup for the std one, im just starting to look into what i have to change on mine to fit the Q45
  18. try a long nosed die grinder same ones used for porting work - they arent cheap though
  19. sweet cheers - not 100% on the leopard skin though
  20. can you get a picture of what your describing?
  21. Looks great Warwick. is that a Cast elbow welded onto the compressor housing? where from? love builds like this over the normal bolt on style stuff, so much more rewarding. only thing i would have done different is have the AFM box under the pipe - or is it too close to the fan ? edit : few days on a polishing wheel and the will look amazing
  22. pretty sure the aircon runs its own belt. Have you read through all the other weight reducing threads out there? and what are you Fabricating as part of this, since anything you remove from your car that weighs alot will be structural therefore not changable and remain legal.
  23. i think they look good in silver why not a high metallic silver with a clear coat? Or the now popular polished lip and gloss centres . or be different with matt centres really depends on who's doing the spray/coating as to what colours they can get you.
  24. got a pic of your rims ? or which ones they are if std etc
