  4. or a 3rd
  5. i also agree lol but there are limits buy a good branded drill versus a low end brand. BUT use a cheaper pin punch/chisel set over an expensive one. for example. better to buy good metal shears over the aviation snips for cut quality if he makes this radiator panel. cheaper screw drivers work as good as expensive ones list goes on, there is a time and place for cheap OR dear tools
  6. $550 - bluepoint $90 - 3 tonne $100 - bunnings 150kg rated ?? $180 for grinder and $180 for the linishing attachment $20 for spindle + sisals and polish $100? fridge = $1350 hope it was a 5inch grinder, i will never use a 4inch by choice these days (not sure why lol) - makita 5" is about $99 @ bunnings. drill bit sets!!! buy a nice ranged set - im using Bordo sets from 1mm to 13mm and was around the $125 for the kit from a tool shop, havent seen these in bunnings etc
  7. Damn not enough room for the 355mm rotors and calipers - thanks though
  8. Cheers Gerz, but its not gtr brembos but bigger
  9. perfect size and great rim. can you do me a favour? measure the internal width of the rim at the mounting face? so i can check clearances to see if they'll fit my car
  10. nice work, is that the psi parts carbon cooling panel as its sold on your site? looks the goods
  11. what were the inner and outer measurements for the rings? also, if you had the rings squared to the centre white globe holder wouldnt that remove the need for the offset circles?
  12. wow, and i thought i over engineered stuff lol nice work as always michael
  13. too many distractions in there, dont want to send him broke
  14. i want!!! lol running 50x50 thick wall or regular 75x75? just running a grease nipple for lube between the rotation tubes? any plans to make this universal? as the rotation point (height from deck) will change with differing widths and centres of gravity
  15. rims no problem i was lucky to get my diff in a housing 2nd hand. still dont know the brand but shes tight and 100% 2 way
  16. yeah, recessed firewall is no real biggy for engineering, mates ae86 was recessed 120mm and the whole tunnel replaced to behind the shifter.
  17. Did the nismo diff have any markings on it? i dont know what diff mine is other than 2 way mechanical, if i could change it to 1.5 that would be awesome. covers look good, should be close to start installing bits now then?
  18. pretty awesome thanks , good to get away from everything for a while. my machined bottom end has been sitting around for ages, need to find some time to get into it, hope that doesnt happen to you!
  19. ahem ... i been gone for a week and no updates for shaammmmmeeeee
  20. get someone to put there hand over the exhaust and check for a manifold exhaust leak
  21. can you check the load on the starter while cranking? both cold and hot if there is a huge jump in amperage draw from cold to hot then it "may" be an issue in both injectors and spark while cranking. anyone with a claw type current multimeter could help you out there
  22. yeah cheers hopefully i can finish the paint work on the centre/shifter surround and get them finished off. that will be the true test yeah mate, whitsundays - i hope i dont bring the cold up there - but im pasty white atm so i wont be sunning myself too much lol yeah seen the posts about solid works, i think i should stick to 2D for now, cad 2012 i think does 3D now but i havent tried lol one of them will, indirectly just after that short drive there is so much light load potential left in it, that will make the car much quicker on the street well i hope so haha Dave, i'll call you tomorrowe
  23. Hope you didn't have to pay $60 a pop for new valves from nissan
