That is probably a VERY good idea.
although it is a little late for that, it will be done with any more i make, this is still a better catch can than most off the shelf ones like the trust units which are just an open can.
i'll be getting the fittings for this tomorrow, so i'll get it welded up and powdercoated by the weekend.
these versions do not look as good as some others that are avaialble
as for quatermile time, that would be hard to test without a wind tunnel.
zcarparts.com have some really nice Carbon ones for sale
as for reading 0.1 seconds into the fins, i doubt it, the design is to aid in increasing downforce generated by your rear wing ..
lol - well no wing means they do nothing
so its effectives is kinda determined by the rest of the aero package hahaha
alright alright - dependant
well i havent seen specific data relating to the drop in the drag coefficient of the vehicle, if they do drop that then yes the fuel economy can effected for the better
just a little info -
the Z club in the USA went to the trouble of Wind Tunnel testing alot of different aero combos on the 240z and 280z, these exact vortex generators were tested and found to work with the correct type of wing on the back of the boot.
effectiveness is definately determined on the rest of the aero package on the car
the Nissan Cefiro runs the RB20det and its engine mounts can be used on the the rb30's to drop the motor within the engine bay, so yes they all bolt onto the other blocks
so since its going into a 300zx, you'll be modifying the cross memeber to account for the new mounts?
ooohh your getting pre fabbed mounts specifically for this conversion - makes sense - but i beg to ask, how is this fabrication related?
like the smoke colour hazerb30, good idea on the polishing under it vs their primer.
as for the ignition module, i wouldnt paint it last thing you want is your ignition system over heating, just polish it, you should have all the stuff now
