  1. oh screen seals - well i used BA falcon Generic seals on my windows when i painted the car, look great and no leaks - and cheap too from o'brien
  2. are you talking about Door seals? if so, direct from nissan - but they are pricey
  3. yep std ones arent brass, aftermarkets are. if i remember i'll have a look tomorrow
  4. thats the idea
  5. well try this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...&hl=gtr+MFD has a few links and even the wiring diagram
  6. i'll leave this here for now, but how is this fabrication related?
  7. I believe this should remain in the fabrication section, i'll have a chat to the mod/admin team as to a DIY subsection.
  8. this thread is about the "stealth wings" try looking below the GT wings
  9. try the oil in the spark plug hole and retest compression - should help determine if piston vs ring damage - but regardless its getting pulled down so hop to it rb26 is definately solid lifters too
  10. do something like this then FROM http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ja....html&st=40
  11. how many litres is the box going to be ?
  12. i would go to a shop that sells em, if they have one on display out of teh box, just ask really nicely if you can photocopy the instructions
  13. Looks good so far what type of tape are you using? looks like a painters tape of some sort what have you got planned for mounting points? planned wall thickness?
  14. just factor in also that the std ganador mirrors do not come in a black plastic like GKTech's ones so unless you buy the more expensive carbon look mirrors, you will need to pay someone to paint the mirrors to your desired colour.
  15. think of the returns as port matching, if you put a gasket on the deck, you will see the amount of overhang of the rear returns on the block. take out whats not covered by the gasket
  16. Heya, which struts did you end up using?
  17. get a fuel pressure guage on there- most mech's have them they tape to the window of the car so they can test the pressure when driving
  18. if its surface rust its easily treated if tis mor serious, keep looking
  19. Joe - just get a nicer switch and put it in the dash to the right of the stereo
  20. thats what i was thinking about finding out the wire 53 speed wire is the one people cut to remove the 180km limiter so this external box (in the pic) is either the dash cluster or another box in the loom somewhere. if anyone could get the entire workshop manual for these cars like the one i have for a 180sx which shows every wire and where it is in the car it would be alot easier to work out
  21. i bought 6 x 22mm 11 x 30mm buy a couple extra as i believe i had a couple i didnt replace.
  22. would love to know the location of this speed sensor - attached one day i will have to try and trace the 2 wires from the rb25 box to the cluster to see if the conversion of the signal is done inside the cluster or externally.
  23. if i was told that i needed a new quarter panel to fix that dent, i would go home and fix it myself - thats ridiculous not only is that location accessable from inside the car, but if a panel beater cant beat that panel back to normal, he aint much of a body shop man. seriously, if worst came to worst you would use a weld on dent puller to bring that back out , then respray.
