  1. Doesnt look like there is any scratches along with that dent, if that is the case then call a few mobile paintless dent removers - they will be able to get that back to looking perfect, without the need to spray the whole quarter and door etc to blen d it in, prob be cheaper too try the yellow pages for these guys, as i cant suggest anyone in Melb
  2. its amazing how much money people charge for simply thinking of something first, and not doing more than spending the $30 to get the plates made
  3. was changing some upper control arms, so while the wheel was off i bolted the unit on to get a feel for how it worked, fits good and will do the job. there will be alot of adjusting involved since the wheel arches arent a perfect circle also need to remove the calipers to get the unit to do a full sweep. heres a pic - not bad for $145
  4. well a matt black doesnt have gloss, so its hard to say
  5. TommO - fibreglass is fine, until you hit something. even so - i wore 2 holes in the bottom of my bar when i had it stupid low for a couple of weeks, no cracking, just holes in it keep your gen one, and if cheap enough grab a FPR one for everyday driving

  11. LOL thanks for that James.... damn toyota drivers
  12. oil thermos work on tha basis of when not up to temp, they bypass the cooler. So it it got stuck closed - it would just mean the oil cooler isnt being used stuck open means longer warm ups like you didnt have the thermostat. so i cant see how it could damage anything if in the odd case it did malfunction.
  13. they dont look to be designed for bolting on, so molding them to the panel looks like a must anyway. tp1gts2 - where abouts did you get them and how much? since they are universal i am keen to check them out. dont forget that you can always trim them down so they dont come out so far
  14. would be alright if you did a retrofit of the honda rear section and grafted into the front half of the standard r32 headlight. well if it was a true projector setup, which i doubt at that year model - but it would fill that gap
  15. have a look at the "nissan paint codes" sticky at the top of this section
  16. computers? AFAIK the stereos will always turn off for second, but if the dash lights go off, then you havent got enough power .. battery or jump start time
  17. +1 on that if all lights including the wing light arent working, it will be a fuse or the brake pedal switch
  18. lol thats lazy - or a major oversight
  19. bent end needle nose plyers - the long ones (foot long)
  20. find out how much he is paying for a std bar for you, as more than likely he will need to paint it anyway, you might be able to throw in a couple hundred extra to do the 400r instead of the std bar
  21. That kit picture listed there is from UAS who get their stuff from Motorsport connections in Seven hills - http://www.mscn.com.au/Scripts/default.asp - i bought pretty much what was in that kit, but substituted the Braided line for their Pushlock series of hose and fittings. GTR1993 - 99% sure the rb26 runs a heat exchanger type oil cooler the same as the rb25's
  22. dont need to reprime it if you arent fixing anything, just a wet 400 sand, then a quick wet 800 sand then your ready to clean it and paint it
