  1. plug in Neon im guessing cheap ones designed for in the car come with a cig lighter plug to power them
  2. 3 wires to the level sender in the boot - next to the battery pretty sure they work on a variable earth system, so when completly earthed it is empty something could be earthing out the wires and sending a false signal to your dash
  3. would like to know this one also From paulr33's Site Looks like it could be - IGN relay Accessories Relay FICD Relay ?? Fuel Relay ?? - thought this was in the boot OR ECCS relay - thought that was in the passenger kick panel as there is 2 relays there
  4. its next to the head deck, behind a little vented area in the dash surround EDIT found a pic http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=80674
  5. what are teh dash lights doing during the attempted cranking?
  6. then i can imagine the damage is quite extensive for that price. How far away from them are you? obvously if possible supply them a copy of the quote you recieved along with photos of the parts you recieved and see if a better agreement can be made. was there any insurance supplied with the shipping?
  7. is that fix AND paint? i can understand the dissappointment and frustration of your position, but do you really need to approach the forum in the manner you have?
  8. Cubes doesnt seem to have it in his Sig any longer try here http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/ its in the documents section
  9. Here is some tips and hints etc for polishing that should become handy http://www.caswellplating.com/buffs/buffman.htm and here is a funny walkthrough for polishing bike frames http://forum.caswellplating.com/showthread.php?t=1755 -snismo - that waterpump looks good
  10. put my order in today - think it will be a little less than $175 its a shame though, because in july-august they were selling them for $129 in a sale
  11. ima gonna go to the penrtih one tomorrow and order one i think .. $175 is too good a price
  12. i used generic straight hose for that rear water feed from the plenum to the hard line that goes behind the head. as for thermostat - that can be done by yourself if you are willing. remove bottom rad hose - 3 bolts for the housing. then pry out old thermostat - put sealant on new thermo and put bolts back in. do a search for a the coolant system bleeding process and follow that - there you go, done for half a day and under $100
  13. fo the cross over pipe, get something a bit more aggressive to get it smooth before you hit it with wet 400 - 400 would take along time to get rid of the casting marks. go all the way through to 1200 or 2000 for final run try not to sand in the one direction the whole time either. check out other tips in the polishing post within the fabrication section.
  14. what you just described about the clutch pedal still being in .. will not be caused by clutch packs in the std LSD .. no connection between the 2
  15. im guessing this is the Burson's that has been mentioned http://www.burson.com.au/allstores/Storehtm/store_search.htm
  16. NPT weld ons - http://www.mscn.com.au/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=106 full range - http://www.mscn.com.au/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=38
  17. then i would think that the std sump will fit
  18. those threads mentioned are for replacing the STD guages with more accurate reading guages in the 3 guage pod in r34's
  19. That would depend on where you have the motor sit in the bay, best to install the motor without the sump, fabricate the mounts to suit, then see clearances to the cross member and sway bar etc or have a chat to Fatz regarding what they did in his S13
  20. the S13's sensor whould still be working if you only swapped the motor over, or am i missing something?
  21. whats it worth at supercheap? looks like a good idea for my daily driver
  22. Well if you are after the std ones, then try the wanted to buy section - or look for a for sale thread from someone wrecking a car. if you want help fabricating these, then supply some details as to what you have to work with. ie welders etc so we can help you to make something up yourself. this is the "fabrication" section, i can move this to the wanted to buy area if you arent thinking of fabricating them yourself.
  23. so the Allen key bolts just push against the back of the guage to hold them in place? i like those threaded rivets, but they arent a cheap tool from what i have seen of them, but i want to get one oneday. Looks good Bass
  24. about an hour i guess, was done bit by bit the guage for boost is the large autometre type. .. which the old coke cans were the same size, so i used one as a mold for making the guage cup. then cut it down and glassed it into the dash piece.
  25. Here is the setup i am running. Fibreglassed a shell for the boost guage near the steering wheel. demister and hazard lights are in the centre console panel. Window controls under the dash. still to be painted though
