  1. http://www.nengun.com/nengun/fender-roller still cheaper than $700 - but yea shipping is more than i thought
  2. or use a heat gun to heat up the area you are working with to aid with the paints flexibilty
  3. I think you guys have had enough fun at this guys expense .
  4. Nengun sell guard rollers you can roll them and flare with these tools, but usually flaring requires body work and repainting. i think the nengun ones is about $270 shipped most places charge about $50 a guard
  5. similar to this range then http://www.revolutionracegear.com.au/?fa=R...6332E944FB94049

  7. http://aerocatch.net/?gclid=CPC24MnhvY8CFSfQIgodc3YuQQ wasnt aware of custom carbon going under, thought that was the name but wasnt 100%
  8. 1) even East bear supply pins and highly recommend you fit them to ensure that the bonnet is fixed and safe from breakages from vibration. 2) any patching of the carbon will show up as the would be no way to match the Weave pattern to hide it, unless you were painting it to match the car and removing the carbon look. 3) patch the holes then get a new sheet of twill set onto the top of the existing bonnet should work onto the gel coat as it sticks to the other side but would be expensive 4) replace the pins with the aerocatch (sp?) the flush mounted pin system - legal i believe 5) wait for someone else to have a better suggestion - think its Noy that works at a carbon place in QLD - name escapes me now
  9. well the main problem is finding 2 points to mount what ever is is you decide to hold the unit in. it will need 2 points to hold it steady, since the weight and distance to mounting point with induce vibration/wobble. i can only really envision a 3 piece system. 1 mounted and bent around tthe centre console from the left support behind the radio, this is the main centre dash support. 1 mounted onto the tunnel via the bolts holding the gear lever shroud. 1 mounted to the emanage that connects to these 2 pieces.
  10. you thinking actual chroming, or ceramic coating? you can cut and buff the ceramic to a shine, but it can and does crack and peel
  11. pretty sure the zstore in the US has alot of CF stuff http://thezstore.com/

  15. here is a hint .. the HVLP (high volume low pressure) gun sets from supercheap with the 1.8mm or 2.0mm gun is really good for laying 2 pak primer. havent tried them with actual colour coats, but i would use a better gun for that. You will need : > a compressor > the HVLP gun > 2pak primer (base, thinners and hardener) - from - V.G. 16. unfortunately Joe here is right http://www.neophi.com/albums/Zetail/350ZLogo.sized.jpg thats the logo, so your proportions are a bit off, maybe look into cutting out the squares in the upright, and thinning out the horizontal pieces.
