  1. This is the tool i was speaking about http://www.rivetsinstock.com/rivet47.htm
  2. you can buy tool sets that are half fivet/half nut. basically you press the threaded section into a hole, then you can use a normal bolt. kinda hard to describe, its a bit like a threaded eyelet.

    Roll Cage!

Heress a link that will no doubt assist in this roll cage http://www.metalgeek.com/cgi-system/php5.c...tatic/cope.pcgi it will determine the cut required to closely join tubing in order to have a neat joint and allow good welding.
  4. could be water pump bearing leaking, check under the fans belt to see if its leaking from underneath
  5. FYI those pics i posted are from this thread some time ago, that isnt my exact setup, but very close
  6. i'll be welding on a 1 inch billet alloy filler cap from Motorsport connections, havent got that far just yet

  8. MAke sure you position the breaker in the right spot so it doesnt fly around.. or just use the in gear and handbrake option with a rattle gun
  9. gotta get the car ready again
  10. no more V for Doodz
  11. you need to hook up a line to the IC piping before the TB so as to allow measured air into the system.
  12. yes i would say removing the old steel plugs and replacing them with brass ones is a good idea, especially since you can buy a whole set for under $40
  13. CAS plugged in?
  14. yeah they look to be the series 2 cams for sept 97 and on built r33's different base circle size to the earlier heads, if thats not what you ordered i'd be making some calls
  15. i have been defected for not using a compatable battery that used the std clear tube for venting any fumes outside of the cabin .. plus std car batteries arent really all that well sealed and leak .. rusting the holder, the metal above the tank and putting gasses into your cabin ... sealed or find a way to box the battery
  16. Alan ummm they did in the USA , since im guessing your asking me

    Custom Afm

You will get a better response in the Forced Induction section. stick with STD or if you have a Power FC and are chasing power try a Z32.. Search in FI if you are unsure about this
  18. Shiny.........
  19. if its running MAF sensors then it wont be a cooler hose - since the car wont go (too rich)
  20. does the std guage move into to -ve area while idling and decellerating ??? does the guage show +ve in that rev range? if it doesnt move at all check the guage's vacuum hose connection on the back of the plenum
  21. there are some Vortex generators on Ebay (search vortekz) - 10 packs for US$20 with angle setups etc in the pack .. The old school Zed guys in the USA chucked a whole bunch of different kits for the older 240-280z 's in the wind tunnel and test the package's effectiveness. the generators had great affect on the effectiveness of any rear wing they used.

    Roll Cage!

i have payed $26 a meter for 2" 304 stainless pipe for exhausts.. so that seems pretty cheap. its the mandrel bending thats the really hard part, without spending alot of cash on a hydrolic/electric bender.

    Roll Cage!

Also have a look in the gallery on that site i linked above, has some different designed cages to give you a few ideas. Cams approved cage bent up for a series 6 RX7 cost about $900 for material and all bends and cuts, then you need to weld it all in ... it might be cheaper for other cars due to the rx7 being a complicated design. that was from a places in Mc Graths Hill NSW
