  1. from the boot access to the fuel pump, its next to the battery i didnt flush it, they are plastic so dont rust so i just got out as much as i could and then refilled it
  2. what about the fuel pressure when this happens? check all the return fule lines for leaks
  3. the tank goes over the rear diff cradle. i was worried about this a while back so i just took the screw top off the tank and siphoned out the fuel there, then filled up with new fuel .. definately less work than removing the tank.
  4. i have often thought of this myself, want to make my own alluminium one but was considering the some of the above questions.
  5. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t=0&start=0 thats the rewire thread
  6. no lines in an r33 boot either, although the r33 and gtrs have the little hatch to access them. i am running a surge tank in the boot of my 33 and am in the process of making a Alloy box to totally enclose the tank, pump and all lines so as to have them sealed to reduce fumes, and in the case of something failing, to have it drain to outside the car rather than inside.
  7. either switch into the positive to break the power feed, or the earth to cut its earthing .. depends on the alarm trigger or the type of switch you are installing.. wouldnt really discuss it too much since it is a security measure you are installing to protect your car.
  8. flasher units are usually in the fuse panel under the steering wheel panels.
  9. perhaps the flasher unit it busted, cant remember how easy they are to access in the skylines though.
  10. 33 ones are in the boot next to the battery
  11. check that the Cat is not melted or the bricks havent shifted try running with a decat pipe to see if she goes better
  12. Guys, this is NOT what this forum or thread is about. My suggestion is to forget it and edit your posts regardless of how you disagree with each other thats no reason for these attacks
  13. jump onto the tein website (they have an english version) and look at the specs of heights and spring rates.. list them down as they are what determine the ride quality
  14. more than likely your seat of the pants dyno is broken .. if there was a change it would be in the vacinity of 5rwkw .. if you can notice that losing that slows your car .. id be very suprised.
  15. why are these settings sweet? what are the benefits of these settings? Are these going to be best for all cars? if not which ones? as there isnt much point for posting it if there isnt anything for everyone on the forums besides tuners
  16. hahaha Hi5 didnt want to say it before he liked them LOL rickytan .. making a LED board etc isnt hard, but you will still need to find something to house them in .. trailer lights from big W are like $4
  17. Any prices available ? i spent $190 today on a 1200x2400 x 2.5 brushed alloy with 3 cuts included.. if i can get it cheaper next time i'll go there instead.
  18. what you think of the ones on my car ? pic in sig
  19. to the factory map sensor that controls the in dash boost guage, if you dont want that to work then block it off
  20. you thought correctly std boost map sensor located next to the brake booster
  21. Thats Guilt-toy's thread - they will work too but im guessing alot more expensive than a generic trans cooler
  22. this is the type i am thinking of, but more than likely with less coils
  23. you can blank one of the top hose feeds off then Y the return into the std return line from the front of the car . but i didnt do this, i used the return line from the front of the car into the surge then used the std fitting on the main tank to return from the surge tank. mainly to ensure that the surge tank is always full. 040 feeds alot more than the std pumps from memory. fuel cooler, im thinking of something relatively small like a trans cooler as they simply weave a hard line with fins on it, as opposed to a oil cooler type that feeds a core. look into getting a check valve for the 044 feed to the rail .. $50 from motorsport connections in seven hills nsw (since i dont know your location)
  24. have a read through this thread from page 2 of this section http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...161617&st=0
  25. are you talking about the filler for - plaster walls .. in a house? dont use that. use a proper auto body filler (bog) For small scratches less than 2mm deep there is a ready made auto filler from autoone etc that is for use on small imperfections and is really really easy to sand .. its bright red in the tin and no mixing required. then if you are not using a 2 pac primer to coat the entire piece (which will need to be done before painting) then you can use a can spray primer filler to get the shape spot on before the primer coats are applied.
