  1. thats the return line on the rb25 due to extra oil in the head from the VCT feed, i wouldnt use that extra washer/restrictor also not listed in teh workshop manual - see attached
  2. i think that car has the blinker in the parker lights. basically you could get a fabricator to make that out of steel, then weld onto the std bonnet. Or get a BA falcon fibreglass bulge (like on fatz s13) then cut up and insert the vent partitions onto that then glass that onto your cut std bonnet..
  3. opinions on the Vy berlina projectors .. cut off seems pretty good.. just not sure on how they are wired or what globes they use
  4. 2530 on rb25 will not make 250rwkw 2535 with poncams ran out of puff at 245rwkw -- would go with a new 2835 pro S room to move up to 300rwkw range with good response
  5. Coil pack cleaning DIY was by Security
  6. Cerci, have you had any workshops advise that the KAAZ centre is usable in your A-LSD housing?
  7. i would use a HKS GT2835 Pro S for a rb25 to make that - or the garret gt30 series. 3L is different again 3540 on the 3L push up at 370kw so too much room in there
  8. 3540 is way to big for the rb25 to make 300rwkw hell my HKS 3040 is a tad too big for what i get and be nice and streetable.
  9. 98 and higher for your cars safety
  10. its probably hooked up at the back of the plenum..should be pretty easy to see the clear tube in the engine bay
  11. From this discussion in the past, autostyle will not sell the kits out as they are trying to reserve them for thier own show cars as above, however these kits are available in japan. speak to FunkyMonkey who knows the company in jpn that sold them. OR just make your own from fibreglass
  12. you can use foam as a base for a fibreglass insert cut to size with about 6mm of clearance total (3mm on each edge) then remove and cover in duct tape, then fibreglass over it, then you could mold in the guage cups etc how you need to angle the guages as required.
  13. yeah but that doesnt change the engine numbers
  14. i have a replica HKS one on my car .. wasnt from Just Jap, but it was just horrible, it chose what ever boost it wanted and the lag was horribly affected by the gate sticking open. wouldnt do it again, that said it didnt over boost, always under and by varying amounts . got myself a new tial 38mm from Slide, and am in the process of modifying all the flanges etc on the exhaust and manifold to fit the new one .. my advice, go genuine something
  15. Couple of suggestions : 1) counter sink the display and angle the guages towards you. 2) if they are the 60mm size guages, then the outside of a coke can is a good mold for guage cups if your gonna use fibreglass (used it in my dash to mount a boost guage into the plastic) 3) fabricate a locking mechanism for use on the track so it doesnt bounce around when its open
  16. have you checked the above? have you made sure they bolted the wheels up evenly?
  17. when i sprayed my car, i just used BA falcon universal seal on them .. no leaks, looks nice a new and neat .. there was a huge thread on seals and rubbers here somewhere, think it was by Beer Baron
  18. no clear coat, and no primer ... the vynil spray is more like a dye than a paint
  19. The vynil spray works well on interiors, we did a AE86 sprinter from the brown to black, looks like its always been black.. quick qipe down with thinners and away it goes... as for colour combinations, you'll have to look at whats available, here is the VHT range Colours available: Gloss Jet Black (SP941), Black Satin (SP942), White Satin (SP943), Buckskin Tan Satin (SP944), Chocolate Brown Satin (SP945), Silver Satin (SP946), Red Satin (SP947), Burgundy Satin (SP948), Dark Blue Satin (SP950), Medium Blue Satin (SP951), Light Blue Satin (SP952), Light Grey Satin (SP953), Charcoal Grey (SP954), Saddle Tan (SP955), Midnight Blue Satin (SP956), Dove Grey Satin (SP958), Dark Rose Red Satin (SP959), Camel Tan (SP960).
  20. I checked out that alloy at bunnings, 0.5 is extremely flexible and not something i would use for the air box. (unless you have something that can put ridges in it to stiffen it up) ive been pricing up alloy sheets (2400x1200 x2.5) and they are over $200 check your local metal land and see if you can get half sheets of thinner material
  21. try a little search first, there are multiple threads on this here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t=0&start=0
  22. Have a look through the DIY section, bit long winded to explain
  23. try removing your dash to make sure the 3 plugs on teh back are in tight .. then i dunno
  24. what car? mine does this on my 33 replaced the dash cluster -- no change removed the speed sender on the GB, looks fine im outta ideas
