  2. Mercedes A45 for swap for a R32 GTR One of the best examples in Australia! This is a one of a kind A45, and has been my pride and joy for around 2 years. Selling as I want to get back into a Nissan, and now I have my heart set on a 32 GTR. if you have one, I'd love to swap with cash my way. I have 62k on mine, so show me what you've got and we can work something out Starting life as a pretty standard A45, I soon started changing bits and pieces turning it into what it is today. Featuring the following exterior mods; - RevoZport front splitter ($1600) - RevoZport side skirt ($1900) - RevoZport rear wing ($1900) - AMG satin black 18x8's wrapped in Ferderal semi slicks, brand new. ($3000) - Carbon wrapped front flicks - Wrapped tail lights - Mercedes weather shields. ($500) Performance wise, we have stage 2 mods which include; - Armytrix dump pipe into the AMG exhaust ($1500) - Wilall air intake chamber ($500) - K&N pod filter ($100) - Ecu flash tune by Renntech in Germany (ecu sent by me for tuning, tune developed at the Nurburgring) ($2500) - All gearbox updates done. - Goodridge front and rear stainless steel braided brake lines with high temp brake fluid ($350) - Endless CCRG pads up front for superior stopping. ($550) The car makes around 280kw at the wheels, which is good for 0-100 in 3.8 seconds, and should see an 11.8-11.9 down the 1/4 mile. For a 2.0l 4 cylinder, this thing is FUN. Inside you have all the usual beauties, to complement the parts that have been upgraded; - Stainless foot rest - Stainless door pins - AMG logo on console This thing is an absolute pleasure to be in and around, and attracts looks everywhere it goes.   5. Thinking of selling my A45 to get back into a Nissan. Looking to swap for r35 or nice Vspec+ r34 plus cash either way i value my car at ~68k Mechanically, it's only got an air intake, and flash tune. Makes around 282kw at all 4's, and it ran 12.1 on street tyres, and it held consistent 1.8 60fts. Plenty of little things to pretty it up RevoZport Carbon Fibre front bumper canard, front splitter, side skirts, GT wing. All up around $8000 Genuine weather shields from Japan. Aluminum foot rest from Germany. Stainless door pins. Tinted rear lights 18" Audi wheels 19" AMG wheels All of the AMG options including heated and completely electronically adjustable Recaro seats (including bolsters), Carbon Fibre dash, AMG 19's, steering wheel, auto reverse park etc etc

Hey guys, Had a search and look through the quick reference guide and the D.I.Y section and didnt find what i was after. basically i have a series 1 RB25det in my 180, and the turbo is starting to smoke. I have found a NEO turbo for $200 that has no shaft play, and looks to be in good condition. My question is, will it bolt straight up - like all the lines marry up? And I believe that the exhaust housing is slightly larger, so will it still be ok to run with the stock ECU? At the moment, the car is fairly stock, only the baiscs with apexi afc neo. only wanting 200rwkw.

  9. Hey, moving house so gotta get rid of this motor i was going to build. Long story short, timing belt snapped resulting in snapped valve and damaged piston. Its a whole motor, no manifolds or turbo. Looking for $150 for a quick sale. bissie south 0400319394 scott

  12. + 1 to having fun in your car insted of turning it into a money pit.................................. like me It'll cost you thousands and thousands to mod it, and will cost you that again to fix it wheni breaks every 3 months. If i had my time again (and will soon) im gunna buy a stocko (or close too) coilovers, tie rods, castor rods, camber arms, brakes, fmic, oil cooler, and in your case r33 turbo, boost controller and tune. Then you can have fun. for a long time.
  13. I just gave it a strap in 2nd on the way to get brekkie, i got 620kpa (90psi?) at 6100rpm. Thats ok isnt it? As long as itr doesnt go over 110 psi. This is my drift car too btw.
  14. Yeh myt oil is always old, i change every 5000kms or 3 months and before and after every track day. Im using castrol edge sport 0w-40 atm. I always use 0w-40, but im thinking i might run thicker w50/w60 at the track. At idle its 190kpa like i mentioned, at WOT when warm, im sure i see over 600kpa. Can double check today as my gauges have recall
  15. Hey guys, I just gave my RB25 a freshen up. In the list of things that got done, a N1 oil pump installed. My question is directed at oil pressure. Before the install my oil pressure sat at 110kpa, which is spot on when warm. After the N1 was installed i noticed that my oil pressure is much higher - 190kpa when warm. What are your thoughts? Surely the oil pump has caused the pressure increase..........? is this good, bad or nothing... what are the affects of excessive pressure and how much is too much

  18. As topic states, ive got a bare RB25det for wrecking. I was going to keep it and build a 25/30 for a track car but have decided that i want a new bike so it has to go. Located on brisbane southside Head $100 Block $100 Pistons $25ea or 5 for $90 Cams $40ea Cam gears $30ea Cam cover $10 Or the lot for $350. No monifolds, turbo, oil pump. Long story short, timing belt broke and 1 valve broke and dropped into the cylinder. Result is 1 snapped valve and 1 cuctus piston. head is off the block, but everything else is still together. Any inspections are welcome.
