  1. All the engine parts are there. It will need a crank, a set of pistons, a new oil pump and a set of sleeves. I'm probably not interested in a swap right now, thanks.
  2. Cheers guys (and thanks also to others for the PMs). It's like saying goodbye to a friend but that's life.
  3. Well, I'm selling my GTR. Here's the ad in the For Sale section, but I thought I'd post it up in the Canberra section also: Item: Nissan Skyline 1994 R32 GTR Location: Canberra, ACT Contact Details: Sigi, [phone number removed] or [ email address removed] Price: $11,000 I'm selling my 1994 Nissan Skyline GTR. This is the last revision of the BNR32, rolling off the production line in May of 1994 (see the FAST printout below). It's done 99,000kms. I've looked after this car since I bought it in 2007. It has never been in an accident and there is no rust on the car. Services have been done by Autotech in Fyshwick, Canberra (see this thread for how popular this workshop is in the ACT). Prior to this, work was done by Rigoli Motorsport. The interior is in excellent condition. There are no rips or marks on the upholstery. The air-conditioning vents are all intact also. * New steel wheel turbos * New Nismo clutch * 3 point immobiliser and alarm * Remote central locking * JVC KD-G325 CD Player with MP3/WMA playback * HICAS, ATTESA all work fine (which means the 4WD, ABS and 4WS all work also) Modifications All of the following modifications can be returned to stock quite easily. * Apexi PowerFC * 5Zigen stainless steel exhaust * HKS turbo actuators, piping and connectors * HKS pod filters * Nismo slave cylinder * Greddy oil management system * OZ Racing steering wheel * Front strut brace * URAS NS-01 GTR rims Additional Items The car also comes with the following items: * Genuine Nissan dealer keychain from Japan * Genuine Nismo GTR key * Genuine Nissan floor mats * Two unopened sets of genuine Nissan car care materials from 1994 If the buyer pays the full asking price, I will include: * a full set of unmarked Buddy Club P1 Racing rims with good rubber in excellent condition (17", Hyper Gold) * an original Nissan Skyline R32 GTR workshop engine manual, translated by JPNZ Paint colour is Black Pearl Metallic. The white stripes are decals that were applied by AOGraphics. These stickers can be easily removed if you don't like them. I have removed the rear GTR badge, but I still have it if you would like to reattach it. Please note: the reason I am selling the car is that it needs a new crank, a new set of pistons, a new oil pump and a set of sleeves. I have been quoted between $5K and $10K depending on whether you use new stock parts or full forged parts. I simply do not have the time to deal with this in my life right now, which is why I am selling the car at this time. The engine has been dismantled and is already out of the car, so you can either slot in your own, or add the new parts in as you rebuild. The car is complete. I've been an SAU forum member since 2002 and I'm heartbroken to see this baby go. She has excellent handling and stance, and is a real head turner. The car can't be driven at the moment. Interstate transportation rates vary but these prices are fromhttp://www.carcarrying.com.au: * to Sydney $390 (door to door) or $270 (depot to depot) * to Melbourne $450 (door to door) or $360 (depot to depot) * to Brisbane: $730 (door to door) or $600 (depot to depot) * to Perth: $1300 (door to door) or $1200 (depot to depot) Here are some photos. I'm happy to take more if you need.
  4. I didn't mean to come off angry - sorry mate, it's been a really trying week and my fuse is short right now. sorry!
  5. wildthe sphincter of the universe72 please don't report locations of parked cars. Can you please edit your post? Cheers mate.
  6. gunmetal grey r33 last night in manuka also a sex0r silver lamborghini countach in manuka too.
  7. there are instructions on here for doing it yourself. but for $80 i'd rather know it was done right. those dash surrounds on the r32 can be delicate, and this way he'd pay for it if they were broken.
  8. hi guys, i haven't yet taken her in to be looked at (work issues). but i'm coming round to the idea of a leak. when i dropped it off, my two complaints were that: since they'd tuned my new powerfc, the car had been running very rich (400 kms per tank, whether i floor it or drive like a granny - 520kms per tank with my old mines computer). he said the original tune had been fine, something else must be doing it. second, at idle, she frequently 'hunts' (revs by itself). so i guess it could be a leak somewhere?
  9. hi guys, ok, i think i can see one of the turbos (one side, at least) at it says "Garrett" on it. Can't see anything saying HKS, but the guy at Autotech was pretty convinced, though? The workshop was Precision Turbochargers. 2x Turbo's overhaul, 2x steel wheels fitted, $1600. The 'ticking' i can hear in the engine bay is actually more of a tapping, on the left side of the head, rather than the turbo side. The tapping seems to stop momentarily when i rev it. christ i wish i knew what i was doing.
  10. thanks heaps for all the great suggestions guys - it sounds more like a whistle than a zing. Like when people watch fireworks. Oooooh! Pitch gets higher as you accelerate. I think it only really starts at about 2100 rpm. i do hear a ticking sound at idle, with the bonnet up. i'll have another look at it in daylight tomorrow.
  11. Hi all, Well my '94 GTR has started making a squealing noise on boost. Autotech say it could be a dying turbo (they were servicing it at the time). The guy I bought it from had recently had the turbos 'overhauled' (I have the receipt) with steel wheels. But then the guy at Autotech says they're HKS units (which would make sense - the car has HKS piping and actuators). Some others on this forum have noted that HKS turbos squeal but I have no idea if this is true or not. The car also has a Greddy oil management system. It sucks because I'm pretty good at looking after it. Any advice on what to do? Sig.
  12. white r33 with nismo sticker on the rear window, and white dash fascia in civic yesty. also a white r33 behind us as we turned onto the tuggers parkway heading to belco.
  13. ah, good work jon. i'll be up for both.
  14. ah this reminds me i have many photos of the new audi showroom in tokyo from my last visit. i must get around to putting them up.
  15. Some say it doesn't matter if you run different width rims as long as the rolling diameter is the same. When I did that, my attesa wouldn't work. Now I've switched to the same rim and tyre on all four corners and attesa works fine (no other changes).
  16. Wow, where have you been Jayce????
  17. More detail on the rims would be useful (picture is not) but according to: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/350Z_OEM_Wheel_Specifications the dimensions are: Size: 18x8.0 Offset: +30mm According to another post on this forum, stock wheels on 33GTST are: Size: 16x6.5 Offset: +40mm Finally, according to the link you posted, based on these dimensions: The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 9mm LESS The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 29mm
  18. so sorry to hear, terminal...i hope you find the car soon...
  19. well we were out at erindale last night sampling SLOW NOODLE FAST, and it was good. we spotted that XB cobra falcon, a white r33 with nismo sticker on the windshield. AND we spotted a replica mad max interceptor:
