Aha! cheers for that mate - well I called a couple of places today and prices seem to range from $60 to $100 all up (in case anyone has this happen to them in future).
if it's modified, regardless of whether it's an import or has been registered elsewhere in australia, you must go to dickson.
if it's stock, you can go to any rta-approved checking station. i went to a place in phillip.
i'll be there - a good deadline to get the car finished by, and a good opportunity to meet some of you.
i'll also bring the camera for pix.

i never would have thought that RJ's would be so packed at 2 in the morning. but i will give props to their egg+bacon rolls and chips. YUM.
i have seen that one around also.
The M1 brings back memories - my uncle runs a garage in Zurich and he got one of these in by chance for a checkup (not in racing livery of course):
i only just noticed now that the front of the 850 looks like it was lifted from the 1972 bmw turbo concept, is that right mick?
OK, so let's say your new rims had arrived and you needed to (a) buy some tyres and (b) have them fitted up. What would you do, given the rims are at home and you want to keep the rims currently on the car?
