    Hey welcome MYSHY32 - you'll find this is a really cool community. the skyline bunch in canberra is pretty tighly knit, bar a few w@nkers. I often wonder if other makes of car have the same community e.g. Celicas and that.

    i was actually thinking of doing a driving mix, probably in a few weeks' time. i'll be looking forward to firing up the turntables after the thesis is done. happy to hand out copies when it's done.

    saw a really nice red Honda NSX last night in civic. Also saw a gold r33 and dark grey r33 last night. We were getting Oporto, which is so good it should be criminal.

    what we need is a real skyline owner's manual. something that contains more info than the stock bits of rubbish people seem to be getting. something people can download off a site, print it off, bind it and keep in their glove box. my manual isn't bad, fairly detailed. the pix are a bit rubbish though (photocopy of a photocopy). probably wouldn't be that tough to collate some of the stuff on this forum into a proper manual.

    saw a nice s2 gun metal grey r33 out at repco today (sunday). lovely dished wheels. big EVO motorsport sticker on the back. then a burgandy r33 outside freedom furniture not long after.

    spooted (yes spooted) a white R34 this morning near Jammo shops along Belco way. I was in the Line, gave a wave but don't think he saw me.

    spotted a silver s2 r33 down near Kingston shops yesterday around 2pm. Gave a wave but I was in a Peugeot Mi16 at the time so it may have looked odd.

    But this argument works both ways: if you want to protect your car "enough", you can. Build a Fort Knox-alike, 24-hour armed guards, sealed vault, minefield, etc. The argument that nothing can stop a thief who wants your car bad enough is not a good reason to skimp on car security.

    thanks for the input guys! any idea how much it'd cost for Integra to do it? thanks DAN00H, your guidance would be welcome - you did your own including side intrusion bars? and then you need an engineer, is that right?

    hey y'all, where would i take my '89 import to get complied here in the ACT? By compliance, I mean adding side intrusions and child restraints, etc. any suggestions? sig.
