  1. I REALLY hope you catch these punks!!!!!
  2. spotted a metallic blue r32 gtr tonight outside phillip ice skating rink (ice hockey - knights vs. adelaide avalanche). gold rims. nice ride!
  3. >The theft sounds professional, which doesn't explain the joy-riding. But it doesn't disqualify it either. It's possible that the thief stole the car and sold it to the joy-rider (who may have thought they were buying it legitimately - which is why they were driving it around). >Have you had your car at a workshop recently? Could they have copied your keys? Yeah - I agree with P1E. It sounds really dodgy now - I didn't know you had that good a security system. It sounds like someone had inside information, or REALLY wanted that car.
  4. yeah, think fane has a point - it'd be great if you someone could follow him back to where he lives or something. in truth, i'd hate to be in his shoes if all the brissy sau forum people descended on his place...
  5. ah krap, i should have come and said hello! still, i guess a poorly lit carpark on a sunday night is no place to talk to strangers. also i was feeling fluey (scarf and all) so wouldn't have made for the best conversation. that's a nice ride you have, terminal.
  6. hope you find the guy, blue!!!!!!!! keep us up to date!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. i think he's in canada! "Member since Jan-19-04 in Canada"
  8. Thanks for the feedback, everyone. as gts_duy said, yep, it'd be a 32t at least. AND I AM SO KEEN!!!!!! I'm still looking at what to do - get a garage put on, add a carport, i dunno.
  9. Sorry, Muz, won't be able to make it - gf is hoping to organise a new housemate this weekend so have to stay home. Bugger!
  10. ah bollocks, muz, that sounds blummin' good. i will see how i feel (sick right now) but me and my gf might be up for it depending on time, distance and illness.
  11. hi y'all, so i'm thinking about getting another skyline as my daily driver (current car is due for a trade in i think). I live in a house with a single garage so there's only room in the garage for one car. loads of people in my neighbourhood leave cars outside at night - just about every house. should i take the risk of leaving it in the drive way at night? or should i buy a car which wouldn't attract the criminal element? or am i being paranoid? i'd love opinions. sig.
  12. >The ACT Skyline Scene, while good, is not as active as i think it could be. Woohoo! Project Mayhem!!! The first rule of Skyline Club is you do not talk about Skyline Club!
  13. saw a white r32 and a wine red r33 (small spoiler - drift?) last night at about 8:45 in woden. We saw Day After Tomorrow which I thought was GREAT.
  14. Is it really $69 flat rate? How does he work out who is likely to get fined and who isn't? How has he calculated risk? Hmmm....perhaps he has insured himself with another insurer somehow? This is all very fishy.
  15. I think maybe R31_silo was agreeing that it's stupid to misrepresent a gtst as a gtr - my take was that the guy offering the $17K thought he was getting a bargain GTR, rather than a mediocre price for a GTST. i could be wrong though. it's happened before.
  16. You can find DAN00H's thread here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=41327
  17. think i've seen that two tone r33 around curtin. i'm usually in the pulsar when i see it though, so not sure what effect waving would have...
  18. Congrats! See you round or on a cruise!!
  19. GTS_DUY, that could be Kryostaisis. On another note, and this could be just me being mega paranoid (so shout me down if I'm being dumb ) but I'm not sure we should post spotteds of cars which are parked for extended periods. E.g. posting a spotted about a car of the guy who lives down the road or whatever. I guess I just don't want some wanker combing the forums to get good spots for targets...
  20. I should be around then.
  21. Jay, I think all of us would say that you have a pretty good attitude. Certainly when I met you briefly at Caltex before that coast cruise you struck me as a very level-headed chap. I'd say that would extend to driving too. Accidents happen to everyone (that's why there are erasers on the end of pencils) and it completely sucks but as long as no one is hurt, everything else can be fixed. Don't add salt to the wound by beating yourself up about it. Re repairs, I can second Slyder's comments about Terry Pulford - I've heard good things about them. Condolences, mate - I hope you get her back on the road soon.
  22. so the line won then?? i thought it was a given that in a prang with a 4x4, the 4x4 wins...skylines, hey - why would you drive anything else??
  23. 2 nissans enter, 1 nissan leaves...
  24. i'm planning on supercharging my r33 in a few months' time.
  25. spotted: silver R33 s2 with a 'for sale' sign on the back window out near Fyshwick. I pulled up next to you in the pulsar (i was out there buying po...er...i was at the library! yeah that's it.)
