  1. are you selling, sxygtst???
  2. That would have been me! I love it when a 'spotted' comes together!
  3. yeah ok. hopefully should have a couple of new mods by then too.
  4. I would think it's a bad idea to post dates and actual routes on this forum for any cruise arranged as cops are known to patrol these sights. I can see this, but at the same time I have a hunch that previous cruises have had low turnouts because this website has been down over the weekend in question, so people have been unable to see where we're going to meet, etc. If we publish where we're going, we may be able to get more people to come along. Just a suggestion.
  5. Oh, and Contempt I'm keen to see your 350z too.
  6. Where from-to? As many girls have found out, I'm easy.
  7. burgandy r33 with chromies outside the Hyatt this morning.
  8. I can't believe you didn't recognise me in my little Pulsar with full sik aftermarket hubcaps! No, wasn't in the Skyline but did point you guys out to my passenger. We could have had quite the silver R33 convoy!
  9. >That would have been James and I SWEEET!!! SPOTTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Well I just spotted two silver R33s heading out of Jerrabomberra...one right behind the other...
  11. we have a case of people who are neither trained nor qualified in the determination of the roadworthiness of a motor vehicle making decisions on whether or not a vehicle is or is not roadworthy. I'm not really concerned about that, so much as the inconsistency of it all. How is it right that I should be able to make my tyre specs legal simply by changing a 50c tyre placard that I could whip up on my laser printer? Similarly, the tyres on my R33 might not be legal on the next R33 I see. It's not localised to our Jap imports either - a friend who imports Mustangs from the US has the same issue.
  12. yep, i went through this during rego inspection. Tyre placard said 17" tyres on all four corners but I'd fitted 16s. The guy said, "either change the tyres or the placard". I changed the placard so it said 16s on all corners and it passed. I was dumbfounded. I'm thinking of moving up to 17s, so lucky I still have the old placard. This is all VERY strange.
  13. 7th should be fine
  14. South Syeeeeed!!!!!
  15. I remember discussing the "handing over the keys" with my insurer, and asked about car jacking (where you are compelled to hand over your keys). They said that in those circumstances it would be classed as theft and you're still covered.
  16. Welcome to Canberra, Locash. I got my 33 through a broker (Prestige). Local prices were a bit high.
  17. I'd definitely be up for this but I'm due to another part of the coast that weekend (work stuff)...
  18. Russian rice, from what I can tell:
  19. That might not be the right number - a higher res image would help!!!
  20. :lol Actually no - I just photoshopped up the image. My 33 is silver. Promise.
  21. Why buy a GTR when you can have a Rost: or a Vada:
  22. From what i can tell the number is 0413 561 421...
  23. why not just call the mobile number on the rear window - "who the hell are you?"
  24. You don't want to advertise to crims about what you have in your garage. Imagine some punk getting your plates off the net, then calling you up with "hello it's John Smith from the RTA, are you the owner of a silver Skyline R33 with plates ******? We're doing a customer satisfaction survey, can we ask you a few questions?". They find out when you're not in, etc. and come 'round to help themselves. That'd be awful!
  25. sxygtst, i think you should edit out your plates from your post...
