  1. Anyone know why they'd have electrical tape?
  2. Cheers Rez - I've been out of JGTC for about two years now. Still have my Tamiya RC Tom's Supra at home which I haven't started building yet. I'll do it up in Endless livery when I get the time.
  3. And a couple more for fun. 350z Roadster: 2004 Supra Concept Not sure who does this body kit
  4. Thanks Rez , but this is the one I meant:
  5. Here's some images I quite like. The JGTC Au Cerumo Supra...tried to find the Endless Advan Supra (my fave) but couldn't find a decent image)... Couple of Mercs (SL55 and 500) OK, the next one is a Tiburon (just warning you).
  6. Hi y'all, I need to get a service done on my R33 (haven't had it tuned since I got it) and also need the timing belt changed. Can anyone recommend somewhere? I guess I'd prefer somewhere in Civic/Braddon for convenience, but I'm open to going anywhere. :burnout: Sig.
  7. The style you're after is the MA1 jacket, like this: http://www.outdoorgear.co.uk/eshop.asp?wci...0101&affid=5997 (in case image doesn't work) It's a popular style and I'd say just about any clothing group will know what you're talking about. Sig.
  8. This is my all time favouritist thread on this forum!!! Keep it up!!! 8)
  9. Uuuuh....it took my friend's garage 1.5 hours to change the alternator in my Pulsar last week. Reckon an engine might take a bit longer... Sig.
  10. I heard last night that some group is planning a $40 million underground bybass, no joke. I think this might be just a rumour at this stage, but wouldn't that be cool!
  11. he loves them 4 round tail lights and just had to have a look :bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha: LOL mate!
  12. Geordie, we've all been pulled over and checked out (I hadn't driven my car 10 ks before I was pulled over!) but I don't mind them tailing me, etc. I'd like to think that if someone stole my line and the cops pulled them over that I'd be able to get it back in one piece. If there have to be a few false alarms in the meantime, well that's OK. I also like to think that while they're following me, they're thinking "Boy, wish I was driving one of those instead of this crappy Commodore". Sg.
  13. Sorry, John, no advice on this except to offer commiserations. My line looks exactly like yours and I consider parking in Woden every now and then. Some people just suck, don't they. I wonder if you might have any luck with security cameras? Just a thought. Anyway, sorry mate. If it's any consolation, this is the first instance of line keying I've heard of in Canberra. Sg.
  14. That's not a silly question at all - what's a transport screw? How would I remove it if it was still in there? Can't take it back, bought the car at Auction!!
  15. Yeah, doh, meant Panasonic (changed now ). When I say it 'whirs', I mean it sounds like it's reading the CD (just like my normal CD players do), but then it complains of the error. It does the same thing whether I'm using the MD or CD (even tried some 'made in Japan' CDs).
  16. Hi all, The head unit that came with my car was a Panasonic MRX777 (CD and mini disc in single din unit - http://www.minidisc.org/part_Panasonic_CQ-MRX777.html). The whole thing lights up fine, playes radio stations etc, but when I insert a CD or a mini disc, it whirs for a bit, then says "E1" (disc error), ejects the CD and shuts down. Anyone have any ideas??????????
  17. Hi everyone, Strathfield fitted an immob (3 point cyclops) and alarm to my car about two weeks ago. When I picked it up, it all worked fine. Then I tried to drive it last night (first time since the installation) and I found that after I switch off the immob and try to start the car as normal, it just makes this clicking sound. It sounds like the starter motor but it also makes a beep every time the starter motor clicks. Strathfield reckons the battery's dead because I haven't driven the car in two weeks. Thing is, I had a new battery put in when the car came through compliance about two months ago. Does this sound right to anyone? Sg.
  18. Yeah, it'd be good for my insurance. I kinda like the idea, though, of NOT using your own car. Don't really want to roll my r33 learning how not to roll my r33. Sig.
  19. Hi y'all, So who here drives their Skyline to work of a week? I don't know if I could handle the tight parking spaces... Sigi
  20. I'll be there if work permits!!
  21. Hi y'all, Gearing up to go through the rego check on Friday morning. I'm kinda nervous, but hopefully everything will be OK and I'll be out and about soon!!! Sigi
  22. Thanks heaps Bomberman - yes, you're right. Last night I found this thread: http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/show...s=&threadid=102 which talks about filling water gaps on an R33GTST. Tonight, I'll try using a blower heater to unstick the sealant and maybe work the unit free. Let you know how it goes! Sigi
  23. Has anyone tried this before? My old one is cracked, and I have a replacement unit but having undone the four nuts at the back I still can't get the old unit out - can anyone help?????? Sig.
  24. Hi everyone, Slowly getting the 'line ready for rego, and I need now to get some new tyres. I was thinking about new wheels too, but they're a little expensive for now. Not into racing or dragging, just a standard road tyre. So, I'm probably going to stick with the stock wheels. I have two questions: 1. Can I get four tyres of the same size that will all fit the stock rims? 2. Where should I go? Thanks heaps everyone!!! Sigi
  25. hi everyone, picked up the '33 yesterday from Sydney, only to find the compliance plate hasn't arrived and hasn't been fitted (?????) and the left rear tail light is smashed (the inner one has broken glass). I'm feeling kinda low about it all - does anyone know where I can get one of these? I just need the glass bit - will I have to buy the whole tail light assembly? Help!!!!!!! Sigi
