yaha cheers chaps. actually i don't have a lot of experience shooting people - more stuff that i can control and position. same goes for lighting. so shooting cars that someone else has parked, with broad daylight and only one lens was bloody tough i found. but mark (?) was sitting there and the composition was right so i started snapping. i think he said something like 'what's this for?' and i was tempted to say 'autosalon' or something but i told him the truth. i think that shot in particular could do with some post work. would look good in b+w. also have a couple more of mrs.gt, jayce. they'd look good with more work too i think. i'm always up for a shoot so if anyone wants to do a photoshoot or summat i'm keen.

I took these at a local car club show (Shannon's Motor Show, as it goes) a few weeks ago - outdoors, roughly midday, bright sunshine with light cloud cover. 300D with 17-85mm lens. I still have a great deal to learn about shooting cars, I think (catching the lines in particular). Took about 200 shots in the end.

it's taken me a while but here are some of the photos i took on the day. i haven't had time to look at any of the others, i'm afraid. it wasn't so easy to get wider shots of any of the cars because they were parked so close together. also i've worked out that shooting cars isn't easy! i have a lot to learn.

oh and about a million pulsars in woden on sunday (what is the collective of pulsars? an sr20 of pulsars?)

saw a black 4 door r32 with (i think) a vertex kit near woden today.

there's value in having to post 100 messages in order to trade, but if you have a look in whoretown, you'll see there are plenty of people who could post after just one or two days!

cheers lucien - nah i'll have to take mine to an instrument shop i think. i've had trouble getting my car up on ramps before and suspect i might just leave it to the pro's.

spotted a dark grey (?) r33 this morning on lady denman. i waved but was thinking about claire forlani at the time and wasn't concentrating fully.
