  1. Do I need a special timing light or will any one do? I just want to make sure it's right.
  2. Brain fart again. My car has an imobiliser. F**k im stupid. Just warmed her up and went for a 100km drive though the country side. Got home and turned her off, realized I wasn't in the garage and it wouldn't start . Error 21 ignition signal fault, car started 10 times with this fault.
  3. ^ my space saver locks my diff too. But keep in mind my tires are too small. 235/40 r18
  4. Ok not going so well. Starter motor won't go. Im hoping that I've just hooked it up wrong.
  5. thats too big of a difference from my expoeriece. having a slightly flat tyre is enough to lock up your drivetrain.
  6. 4406037P25. Possibly???? My catalogue doesn't have pictures.
  7. Hand brake isn't on there
  8. ^ I thought the same.
  9. Oh. Anyone know what size E-clip hold the actuator to the wastegate flap?
  10. Finally got my engine back in
  11. Ok this is all I have left to do/buy. Engine mount nuts for the bottom side (don't know where they ended up), set of belts, 3 bolts in passenger side drive shaft, dump pipe bolts/studs, fuel filter, fit turbo oil drain, buy some hose for the cam breathers. So yeah should be doing my mountain run on Friday night.
  12. Anyone got series 2 handbrake pad part numbers yet?
  13. Lol brain fart, it was the bracket that holds all the plugs on. That wire won't reach the oil sender Almost all together now
  14. Ok then, just worth asking, how many days are you planning for the drive. I want to drive to Sydney to get my car tuned but I don't think it will be ready when your planning on going.
  15. Lol. Yeah, it just seams like they get every where in my house so if some didn't end up in my sump I would be surprised.
  16. The only thing I'm scared of is the clutch plate coming loose, 3 of the bolts stretched so I replaced them but I'm worried the rest might let go. I'm trying to find a picture of how the wiring gets tidied up, I took photos on my phone when i pulled it out but it crashed and I lost them all.
  17. Yeah I'm using the hypergear atr43 ss-1. Going to run 14psi or as low as possible if I can't get the low. Ok kewl, il plug it and if there is an error il know why, this big earth terminal plate is driving me nuts too.
  18. Your wife can't drive your skyline or you won't let her?? It's gonna be a very long drive with just one driver.
  19. I don't know where I went wrong but I can't find the oil pressure wire and I have a single flat terminal in a big rubber boot that I dont know where it goes.
  20. Any engine bay pics?
  21. It's already got rb26 rods. It's back in the car now anyway. Il have a look at your car sales ad and show the wife and see what she says.
  22. Only took 3 hours to get the clutch fork in but other then that it went in pretty easy. Very sore and worn out today though.
  23. ^ that is a good idea. I didn't consider that, I bought a gauge but it didn't work, stupid Kinchrome.
  24. When asking for help its good for you all to know what has happened up until now. I've got nothing to hide. I admit I made some mistakes but it's all a learning curve. The only concern I have is that I may have a few dog hairs in my engine, I think everything else has worked out ok. Trust me I will be doing minimal driving until its tuned properly. With a baby on the way I can't afford to do this again. How long does it take to run in an engine on a dyno vs in the road. Liked if I get my tune checked, I might just go for a late night mountain drive. I'm thinking mt nebo and mt mee and mt cootha all in one night. That should get me my 200km before the first oil change.
