i doubt that anyone is still actually going to help me but i have some questions. my stagea manual is in Japanese, but i have an r33 manual in English (only covers rb26 bottom end) will the rb26 bottm end and rb25 top end torque settings be ok for my rb25 neo? what is my ring gap supposed to be, i just want to make sure it has all been machined correctly before i assemble it. (cp pistons, 86.5mm) arp head studs, what kind of socket is it and what size? assembly lube, is it normally in the oil section at auto stores?

Incase anyone else comes acros this thread looking for pistons, they are $800 delivered from America.

Ok all the gurus out there. Standard block height, mil 6thou off. Will my pistons be too high? They are cp 9:0 compression 86.5mm bore

Ok just got the call from my machinist. $866 for the balancing, grub screwing the crank, checking bearing clearances, installing crank collar. So my build so far is very close to $5k

Hanaldo - lol. But really I had a Greddy profec for 3 years and I used low boost mayb 2 or 3 times. If you have the spare cash they can be good for when people drive you car and you don't trust them.

No one needs an ebc. They are just for "I'm pulling my dick" factor. When you get the hypergear turbo you will never run low boost anyway.

Npc do a 33 gtr clutch off the shelf for $630

306hp on bp98, 20psi dropping to 14psi, hypergear atr43 ss1.

he is balancing one piece at a time but he is marking my pressure plate to go a certain way so yeah, just worried me a bit, im gonna keep my excedy i think.

ok getting it all balanced as we speak, just a concern, im leaning toward replacing the clutch but im getting it balanced my excedy, will the new clutch affect the balance that much?

My wife loves driving my stagea. I would pick the stagea over an Sti anyday of the week. If you have a heavy foot they will use fuel but considering they are a small 6 in a medium sized car it's expected.

Oh ok then. I haven't got the fuel system to support e95 but I was curious about the added running costs.
