  1. Booked my car in for a tune. Drop it off 14th for a tune on the 15th
  2. I've got a spare plug here grabbed 2 incase I needed it but didn't. (from a vl commodore at the wreckers, rubber boot is a bit worn out.
  3. i see your point, judging by how its running now it will only need a quick touch up anyway. im gonna give efi a call tomorrow and get it booked in. just a question, ive never had a car tuned that didnt have a boost guage, should i temporarily install the one from my wifes car for the tune??
  4. Still not sure where I want to take it, everyone says go to efi but their prices are a bit high, I've had bad experiences with recommended tuners before, the people with no recommendations are always more willing to fix their mistakes.

  8. I'm standing over my engine think that's alot of pipes and stuff. Is the easiest way just unbolting the plennum?
  9. Jump on the just jap website and buy a 3 inch dump and cat back. Cheap, direct fit and in most cases legal. I've got a series 2 stagea so same engine as you I've got a hks high power. Just over 90db with a single cell cat.
  10. I know it doesn't matter, I'm just saying if I have to chose between a 2 wheel dyno and a 4 wheel dyne, both with a good reputation I will choose the 4wd dyno.
  11. Yer I read that thread, personally I don't want a rwd tune, that's where my problem came from. Im yet to enquire at godzilla. I've got my injectors waiting just need to find a spare chunk of time when mr gts4 is available to update the ecu.

  14. It's probably not related was just a little concerned. The bad part is I have audible knock as early as 4000rpm .
  15. Hey everyone, since I have installed my nistune my temp guage sort of jumps from nothing up to 1/4 on the guage when it's warming up. And my front torque guage reads just above 0 on the guage cruising at 100, if I give it some throttle it will increase quite happily as the revs rise. Is this ecu right or was my old ecu right? Thanks for any info.

  17. If a newer car is what your after then clearly the m35 will be what you want, just didn't understand only looking for a 260rs or m35. I will be the one lol at you at the drags
  18. Is there a reason why you won't look at the rs4v or rs4s pending if you want auto or manual. The only advantage to a 260rs is the brakes. On a rs4 you will need a brake upgrade.

If you boost up on your cold start map you will see this very well.
  22. ive got a nistuned ecu with a z32 tune on it. just not really sure as to what to do about the injectors.
