The air that is being sucked in isn't going through the afm so it's unmetered. All atmo bov can make your car stall. I had mine atmo for a few weeks during my turbo upgrade, as long as you keep the throttle open it will run. I you really want the noise just keep you foot on the accelerator as soon as it starts.
Edit - expect much abuse on this forum. More then half the people on here will flame you for this thread.
lol it was a topic title to draw attention and it worked
anyway, does anyone think that hard wiring the fuel pump will fix my 300rpm lumpy idle. and the miss on throttle application?? i was just going to do some basic patch wiring over the fuel pump relay into a second relay but i cant find one in the fuse/relay panel am i going nuts??
No just everything I read was very unclear as to what was actually inside the fuel tank. Now the waiting begins, my afm and injectors are still on the way.
I have a nistuned ecu that is tuned for a stock engine apart from a z32. If I just fit the z32 and plug in the ecu it should run yer?
To me it looks like its flooding just from the extra pressure, I would have thought that the fuel pressure reg would have fixed that but obviously it's not working properly.
My wife ended up doing it. Identical size to the stock one. Just changed the plug and put the stock filter on and reassembled. Thanks everyone for clearing that up
On a side note it doesn't run very well anymore. It's stutters alot.
My beef is that ive read on the net that the fuel pump should just lift out and i can just unplug and plug in the walbro. My fuel pump is inside the surge tank in my fuel tank and as such I can't remove it. If someone would like to inform me as to how it's supposed to come out that would be appreciated. Next point the stock pump looks to be encased in the plastic and as such the walbro will be too small for the holder.
Il sell you mine if you want, just finishing the turbo upgrade now. Should be tuned in 2 weeks 250awkw ish. But I do want $20000 for it. That's the only down side.
yer pretty sure its a t88-34d, makes some huge power figure, the nsw guys might know, its a pearly purpleish colour gtr 33 number plates BUS73D. guys name is sam.
I fitted a jjr turn flow in 3-4 hours including going and buying a grinder and I had problems re fitting the bumper, not because of the intercooler just awkward to hold and push on.
Ok got my bov plumbed back in again, but it's still stalling. Does turbosmart sell harder springs? Should just make up a packer to put more tension on the spring?
