  1. I made them myself, so make an offer, I think they cost me about $30. They only replace the hks rear section. Well I do have some issues that I think are wheel related so I might look into that, I need to find some steel rims that will fit.
  2. Not yet, been looking for something 4cyl turbo, hoping the owner would like to swap but yeah. No luck yet. So yeah if you know someone with a Silvia/Corolla/Evo/Wrx that would like a stagea give us a heads up. Thanks
  3. It's not actually a boost control. Just fixed my exhaust. I usually run a pair of twin 3 inch pipes from just after the wheel. I re installed the hks hi power and it has created enough restriction to drop the boost. The boost is very stable, it just surges, it's doing what I thought was the knock maps were with the other exhaust, that's why I'm wondering if my plugs are just fouling. Plugs look good, gapped at .8.
  4. Ok so I've installed my boost control (read exhaust restrictor) and have got it back down to a steady 15psi. My question is. What is wrong with my tune? It's now surging rather badly. And don't say it's because of my exhaust because it's not. My assumption is that it's over fueling and fouling the plugs, does that sound about right?
  5. I got mine from skate biz in the city, $250.
  6. just paid rego so 12 months rego and $9500 and its yours.
  7. My apexi pod filter bolts onto the afm, why do you have an adapter?
  8. Silly question. But what size is the intake on the g2.5? Is it a 3inch or 4inch mouth.
  9. the problem is that i cant have the car off the road for the length of time required to pull the turbo off and send it down then wait for the arrival of the new turbo, my baby is due soon and i need my car. i messaged you about me paying a deposit so you could send me the new turbo first so i could just do a quick change over but never got a response. and what if i send my turbo down and then the new turbo has all the same problems, what am i supposed to do then? either way i lose out.
  10. The wastegate does stick at a certain spot, but stao assumes me that that it won't open to the point where it jams when the actuator isn't connected. It's holding boost very very well, it only dips in the last few hundred rpm like they all do, I'm just super annoyed that it wouldnt do it on the dyno. So now I've got a rock solid 14psi map and a turbo that makes 18-21psi depending on temperature. I'm guessing this is the same problem I had when the engine blew up. Got a tune done, turbo decided to work for a day and without a knock map it shat itself.
  11. No boost controller, Tried a turbosmart boost t on the dyno and it wouldnt run any more boost without heat soaking. Nothing has been touched, the day after the tune it started making over 20psi. I have since gone over every vacuum hose and inter cooler hose and not found a single problem.
  12. It wouldn't make boost on the dyno but now it's over boosting and dropping into the knock maps.
  13. Ok over it, anyone want to swap a stock turbo for my hypergear?
  14. What suburb are you in?
  15. ok how about $10000 and il put an atr43 g3 on there for you. then you can be happy with 280kw.
  16. The main issues are. Whose car is it? is there any other vehicle available to him? What happened to his original car? My neice drives my rs4s and her dads r33 regularly and hasn't had any problems and she doesn't have an exemption. As long as he is responsible I would suggest just drive it without the exemption, I'm assuming it's only as a short term thing.
  17. My testing starts at 100km/h so my car is deffinately on boost. Il try it again next week on the next tank of fuel and see how it goes. If stao and I can work something out it won't matter anyway.
  18. Looks like I might talk to stao a bit more then. I'm basing my car on its fuel consumption before and after the turbo replacement. And the power/speed I'm basing on a stretch of road that I regularly open my car up on. Currently its about 50-70 meters slower then before my turbo spat the rear wheel. But that could be bad fuel.
  19. i was just after some dyno sheets to see what others are making, its hard to keep track of who has what in this thread. as said earlier stao has offered me an exchange and im trying to decide if its worth getting another tune and going bigger, my current thought is ive wasted alot of money to only make stock power. but in saying that if my fuel consumption gets any worse il need to buy a new car to drive to work. so hanaldo, gtsboy and 34geeteetee, are you happy with your setups? whats your fuel consumption like? running rwd or awd?
  20. Sorry for the off topic. Who in here is running an rb25 neo?
  21. Why would you want staggered wheels on a 260 ???????? Just get a matching set. I would suggest something either **x8 +6 or **x9 +30. Those should fill the guards and not touch anything.
  22. Sean at Efi charged me $650 for my first tune. They are beside the yatala drive in. Ben at m1 charged me $500 for the last tune. He used the hi power racing dyno at slacks creek for me but I think it just depends whose dyno he has access to at the time.
