  1. its the right turbo for the stagea, i purchased braided water lines and they had the wrong fittings, ive got some adapters now but i cant get the water line out from behind the head. so to all the atr43 ss-1 is the right one for the stagea. ive run out of time now so im gonna have to see if i can steal a car from someone to get to work. i had a week off to fix the stagea but ive had too many set backs now.
  2. Oh yay. One more problem to add, my atr43 has 18mm holes for the water lines and my water lines are 14mm. Time to give up I think. I am not paying another $250 just to get custom lines. Anyone want a brand new atr43 SS-1?
  3. I was selling mine until it went bang and now it's not worth selling. I owe more on it then I can sell it for now. If I don't get the power I want il prob sell the engine package and buy a 2jzgte and go that way. The stagea is too heavy for a 2.5 I think.
  4. I think with enough practice the stock lines may work but mine are just over bent and about to crack. Ahhhhh I don't like trying to use the air box, the bends are a pain in the ass to get right, I'm getting a pod filter tomorrow.
  5. I don't doubt that it might make good power. Until I go and buy some water lines I won't know what it drives like. Te chassis side water line is too short by about 14mm. And the engine side one if I bend it anymore its gonna snap.
  6. Yer thats the one, I wasn't really concerned with looks as you can't even see it once fitted, more so unhappy that it's a "direct oem replacement" and it's no where near fitting. He is sending me a spacer and gaskets so will see how it goes next week. Pics to come.
  7. Il put some up tonight when I get home. Edit - he did a good job taking photo for the website to hide the welded on flanges.
  8. If I knew how poorly made his turbos are I would have just bought a Chinese knock off, would be better quality and would probably fit better. So fricken pissed :@
  9. Can you pm me some info on those seats please. Thanks
  10. Ok everyone. For future reference. Atr43 SS-1 is not an easy bolt on option. Needs new water lines and the oil drain needs to be customized, you cant put the rear exhaust nut on because the outlet flange is about 3-4 mm from the stud and the outlet of the compressor jams against the manifold, yer I can just turn the compressor housing to suit but then the wastegate actuator gets more pressure, the t3 flange and the Nissan 6 bolt flange or should I say flat plate with holes tapped in it is just welded onto the turbo, im guessing that it's a t25 exhaust housing with the flanges cut off.. Why the f**k did I think a cheap turbo was a good idea.
  11. Ok just wanted to confirm. Thanks
  12. Ok have received a very suspicious email from stao. Can anyone confirm that he is a real business? Has anyone ever met him in person?
  13. I only made it a smart ass angry comment because you tried to say it a second time after you were corrected.
  14. Rs4s is a manual 4wd. I have one. Many people have them. Chris once again you are very wrong. It's RS4S because its an RS 4WD MANUAL it's that same as RS4V is an RS 4WD AUTOMATIC The 4 stands for 4wd the same as a gts4 is a 4wd skyline STOP POSTING WRONG INFO IN A THREAD THAT SOMEONE HAS STARTED TO ASK QUESTIONS
  15. ^ yep. But it has to be cracked. They don't pay for chip repair, I dont know why you would bother anyway.
  16. Also need a passenger side rear grab handle with the bolt covers still attatched.
  17. The clips that hold the rear metal roof lining piece in, a clip from the back of the side skirts, some roof rails to try to smooth out and see what I can do, rear exhaust hanger.
  18. +1. I'm always putting them up after I get out.
  19. Chris. You are very very wrong. Rs4s is a factory built car. You may aswell try telling people the world is flat.
  20. Getting rather impatient now. I think I should have stuck with a local business. Considering the extra 8 working days so far I think it would have been worth the $900 more
  21. I wish mine was that cheap. $135 per month, insured for $22000, $1000 excess
  22. I've got a silicon elbow for the turbo outlet. Just hooking straight into the stock pipework. Then I just need a 40mm fitting for my bov return and a 20mm for the breather pipe. One thing I haven't considered, does stao send gaskets with his turbos and will the turbo have exhaust studs?
  23. I'm making it myself. Il prob just buy 2 45 degree bends and tig them together. Just wasn't sure if everyone just runs rubber hoses instead of trying to make new hard lines.
  24. Still waiting . Is everyone just using a custom made 3" steam pipe intake? I'm planning on using stainless but not sure on what to do about the bov return an the breather hose.
