yer that looks identical to mine, from what i have found, they either come in this colour or the woodgrain colour. how much did you want for it?

yer that would all make sense, now i just need to work out why my climate control light on one end has gone out. there is also 2 diffrent plugs in behind my headunit that are just sitting there on the loom goin no where, one looks like it might be for the ok meter type guages that replace the clock but thats just a guess. does anyone know if the stacker will work with newer clarion head units? i just dont want to take it out and have nothing in the whole.

do u have a pic to see if it looks the same? i might see what i can find on google picture search

ok now ive just read through this whole thread and im still lost, ive got a factory tape deck/stacker setup, ive got the plug with the 4 wires that someone said was for satnav plugged into my headunit, so ive got 3 plugs in the head unit and one empty socket, i also have a round socket 5 or 7 pin i think, with nothing plugged in to it. there was also a frequency expander in there that the plug broke off when i was poking around. and there is an extra plug in there going no where. can anyone shed some light on this??

after one for a test fitment and mine has a scratch on it.

I have got a turbosmart boost t in mine running at a peak of 10-11 psi. As you might hve noticed the turbo can't keep the boost up when the revs get higher, I'm thinking that's why Nissan put the vct in to try to add power when the turbo ran out. My car has a massive hole you could drive a bus through between when the boost drops to 5 psi and the cams coming on at 5000 rpm. But honestly just buy some aftermarket coil packs if u suspect a problem as sealing them is only a temp fix in my opinion. Feel free to pm me any questions if u want to compare things in my car (1999 rs4s)

I always leaned towards haltech but it's so hard to find someone who can tune them

mine did it more when it was stock, after the exhaust and intercooler it got less frequent. i assumed that by turning the car off and back on it kind of did a check to see if there was anthing wrong then went back to normal running. the 10 minute boost mod didnt work for me so ive got a turbosmart boost t turned up to about 64 clicks. its 6 clicks short of overboost. but still does it on cold nights accasionally.

Mine does it too( manual series 2 ) I'd say it's just another Nissan problem disconnect the stock boost control and fit an aftermarket one and it will stop doing it

It's got a boost t on it. The weird part is iv got it set at 5 clicks under rich and retard and it only sees 9 psi. Should be atleast 11

The stock turbo won't run 11-12 psi. It gets about 9 at 3000rpm and drops to about 4 at redline
