  1. no i havent done the timing belt yet, that is in 1100km time so yer i need to think about where i am taking it
  2. hey everyone, will an r33 bov adapet fit a series 2 stag?? has anyone else experienced a weird shudder above 100km/h. im guessing its because my weights keep falling off my rims just want to be sure that there isnt a comon problem there. laterdays
  3. it was good drive, not as organised as it should have been but we all got there in the end. 3 cars with uhfs didnt help, seeing as we were the only 3 cars who stayed together. for future reference there is no phone coverage in the country. but just to all those who comented on my undersized battery - thanks for saying it near my car, the battery lost its guts just after i got home.

  5. with the just jap cooler, i only got the 2 bottom mounts to fit, and the one on the intercooler pipe itself is just zip tied as its no where near the hole.
  6. ok incase people are still interested, its back. im going to pour a bottle of methylated spirts into the fuel tank and see how i go, im thinking maybe some water floating around may be stopping the fuel flow. if that doesnt work then i will be chasing a dyno to see if they can see anything wrong. i was going to get it dynoed last week but it started to work so it seamed pointless to go chase a problem that had disapeared. so does anyone have access to a dyno. i only need about 10-15 mins. im willing to pay just dont want to pay for an hour when i wont use an hour.
  7. i cut my reo bar(abolut an inch) and bumper(around the pipes) and it went straight in. the only issue i had is that it doesnt sit straight because of the thermofan.
  8. the reason i ask is that adr 51, ece 37, allows hids. so basically because they dont have washers or have auto level i cant keep them.
  9. hey, can some one explain to me why hid's are illegal on import cars but not illegal on aus delivered cars.

  12. just to add more fun to the situation, i drove to work this morning as normal missing all the way,but on the way home it didnt miss a beat, then i went shopping and it it didnt miss at all so yer im getting very confused
  13. not so much short of cash, just may be looseing my job in the next 4 weeks. so are we voting sitc/safc or fuel pump/regulator?? or both?? one more minor concern, its dropped back into low boost mode.

  15. i will have to see what will be easier to fit. on my celica i had a vl turbo pump and a malpasi rising rate, but i think a malpasi would be a bad idea as the maps would get screwed up with the extra fuel. i think that if i just get a higher flowing pump and use the stock reg i should get ok results. what is everyones opinion on pumps??
  16. phil i think you win. i changed the plugs and the old ones were burnt horribly, im guessing its getting really lean really quick. what fuel pump does everyone recomend i get?? is there a bigger bolt in one?? oh and for reference the plugs didnt change anything.
  17. it appears to just be an unburning issue, i think i will try a diffrent plug first and see how it goes. is it the bcpr7es or bcpr6es recommended??
  18. just for peice of mind, they will sit 18mm further out,the closer the number is to zero the deeper the offset. i was looking at getting 18x9+20 or 18x8+30 , but i only got those numbers from on here researching. i just wish it was easier to get deep offset wheels. sorry for going off topic
  19. i put yes but im not really sure, i just cant turn one wheel on my car at either end.
  20. i have considered the fuel pump a few times but from looking at the computer it appears to getting richer as the miss starts and the plugs are always full of shit from not burning the fuel off. i should probably buy a guage to keep an eye on it just to be sure its not just the ecu screwing up the signal from the o2 sensor.

  22. ok so insulating the coil packs doesnt help, just a quick question, is it possible it could be the crank angle sensor?? so after a day of ringing around a crank angle sensor from nissan is $1025. is it possible to borrow either coil packs or a crank angle sensor from anyone to be sure what it is??
  23. ive got a series 2 manual and it bolted straight in without any cat mods or anything. just snapped one stud but yer that was my fault
  24. yer count us in, just let me know a time for the nilton maccas meet up, maybe phil and i can meet somewhere and drive to milton together. just dont expect me to go fast as my car wont go over 2500-3000rpm.
