spark plug gap is set at .8 as recomended on here. does anyone know of any stores that sell splitfires at a discounted price?? what does it normally cost to have a safc installed?? im not so much chasing more power just a relieable car, im getting to the point where im ready to do an insurance job on it so i can get a toyota again.

hey, i think most of you have probably seen my older thread about my stag that keeps missing. i just thought i would ask a couple of questions. i noticed something weird yesterday, i desided that i should change the plugs again and since my miss has once again temporarily disapeared i would turn the boost up to 10psi, so in goes the turbosmart boost-t and temporary boost guage, 57 clicks later it hits 10psi but my miss has returned, unplug boost t and runs like a dream, plug in boost t again and u guessed it its back. so for now ive sunk back in my hole of accepting the power ive got. but im just wondering if after all this time its just the rich and retard thing thats going wrong. like when i pulled the old plugs out they still looked like a perfect running plug, no carbon or burn marks just a lil bit of colour rom normal running. is there any thing people recomend to fix this. i have thought mayb apexi safc but unsure if it will fix the issue. also is there any awd dynos in south east qld that give discounted dyno runs to sau members?? thank you everyone for reading another one of my miss typed threads. hey everyone. just a silly question. ive got a seres 2 stag full 3 inch exhaust and a k&n panel filter. ive got a constant and getting worse miss that im chasing. but thats for another day. has anyone had any real experience with a power fc in a series 2 stag? just considering it as a tunable upgrade. thanks

the back of my lights behind the grey covers looks tidy and stock except for the 2 female spade terminals, does any one have a picture of the back of the hid light?? they arent hid bulbs because i installed the arctic blues without realising they werent hids. something like a h7 i think.

well my headlight cases say xenon, but its got arctic blue bulbs in them, if i buy xenon bulbs and just plug them in should they work? is there any risk of killing them if the above stuff is missing?? just for reference the 2 hid fuses and the relay are the ones in the middle row also what sort of bulbs do i need to buy??

ok its been 5000kms since i put the plugs in and the miss has come back and its just like it was when i bought it. should i just change the plugs to something diffrent or buy some splitfires and hope it fixes it??

ive had it for 12 months, used it for about a month until my turbo fell apart and i bought a new turbo with a 10 psi actuator. has all wiring and solenoid. english instructions can be downloaded off the net. its a turbosmart brand boost t. was used to turn boost from 1 psi to 6 in a carby fed corolla. dusty but in good condition.

im in ipswich, mine has a piece missing in one corner.

hey eveyone. i have been doing some research since i bought my stag a few months ago and ive come to the conclussion that there is alot of wrong information. i would just like to point out the 1 major point that puts everyones information possibly wrong. what ive found 1st bit of info - 700 millimeter of mercury [0 °C] = 13.535 744 51 pound/square inch (converion program) 2nd bit of info - top line of guage(+700mmHg) is 9psi (info found on here) 3rd bit of info - my guage reads the half way line at 8psi (testing with a boost guage in my car) 4th bit of info - with boost control unplugged reads 1/4 of guage at 5psi(testing with boost guage in my car) so is the info found on here incorrect or are the other 3 incorrect?? is the factory boost guage wrong in my car?? im not trying to make anyone look silly, i would just like to know the truth. sorry if anyone is offended. thank you, i look forward to the replies

in all honesty is there a way they can prove that there is no internals in my cat, they would need to prove it to wright the fine, so i think the cat can wait until the car actually works.

ok ok u win, later in the week when it comes back my missus might let me buy some split fires i forgot to say, the hks exhaust from just jap bolted straight on and fixed my boosting issue. but in the change over process some one got carried away(me) and killed the cat with a steel bar. should i replace it??

ok i finally got around to changing the plugs, i installed some bcpr6e gapped at .813. but the weird thing is that the dealer ship lied, when i pulled the plugs out they look as though they have neva been touched, all the pipes were tight as hell considering that they were suposed to have removed them 2 weeks ago. and also the plugs i pulled out were bcpr5es-11's. but now it is running sweet as with the bcpr6e's. does the 's' make that big of a diffrence?? and no i havent checked the coils as i dont know how to test them
