  1. just thought I'd update and say yes this works, I had to use female blade connectors on my 89 model, oh and make sure you wrap them right to the end in electrical tape lol
  2. haha yeah i think it's starting to dawn on the V8 crowd that more efficient power gains are made from turboing vs s/c. those ebay kits seem to be awfully cheap...
  3. haha just reinforcing it dunno RB30E can go alright with a few mods, certainly no powerhouse though lol
  4. approximately how much fluid would that involve marc? I was under the impression that you needed special tools etc etc lol
  5. that looks like the dodgiest setup lol
  6. I don't think that works too well..
  7. I just hope it dosen't end up like that effing R34 ;/
  8. Yeah I always wanted an SV5000, but SS $5k vs $15k for an SV 5000 I have seen one, owner used it to transport his dogs and tow a boat  Yeah they can be clunky with worn suspension components, I got all my bushes changed to Nolathane ones for around $300! Wish the Skyline was that cheap haha
  9. oh and they only rev up to 3000rpm due to the 3:1 eccentric shaft
  10. Well marc depreciation IS important in that it reflects the quality and popularity of a car down the track most of the time. Especially if old mate buys the F6 then decides a year or so later that he'd rather have the gt-r and loses say 30k on it. About the only cars I can think of which are well made, cheap and reasonably popular are MZ20 Soarers.
  11. how does one obtain a Skyline in the USA these days?!
  12. I should have a left arm like Popeye then ^_~
  13. yeah but you're not even gonna play it on a good quality tv marco and I disagree about sound, there's nothing more annoying than a car game where they all sound similar.

probably shithouse lol. Stock R32 rims don't look bad, a shitload better than stock R33/S14 rims anyway!
  15. I don't mind the GT-R front bar - I have a copy one which is near wrecked, but the whole bodykit seems to get put on more GTS-T/4 than later models (with the exception of the R34 GT-R wing)
  16. Boss motor more like POS You'd be better off buying an EA and using the other 29k putting a huffer, suspension etc on it, keep the stocko rims on and you'd be guaranteed neve r to get harassed! (And I have seen this done before lol, much suprises were had on bogans!)
  17. It might be more viable if they do it up with bitumen road, and get these abovementioned improvements to the track itself. I haven't been for ages, but the last "street" meet I was at was just Monaros, Capris, Cortinas, Kingswoods, etc. The Operation Drag Right used to be a big hit with the bogans though, used to have them on friday nights, ironically before 'hoon laws' came in.
  18. Stock for stock VN's are more of a boat IMO, especially with cheesecutter tyres, an oversize steering wheel and a fair amount of low down torque, modified, VL's just seem to feel 'loose' to me, never been in a properly modified full house VL though.
  19. I don't get this sudden bodybuilding craze where your torso has to be 3x the size of your waist and legs lol. How do you guys get into this stuff, is it by going to the gym and working out a fitness plan, or just by forums and hanging around like minded people?
  20. would ya be able to chop the plugs off with wiring still attached off the indicators for me?
  21. You could say the same thing about a good percentage of the cars that go there, cage free, i find it funny. That said, crashes are the most entertaining thing about drag racing TBQH drag racing here bores the shit out of me, its nearly always just big block monaros, big block fords, vn shitboxes, R33 posers etc. Crappy facilities (no shade or anything), a corrugated dirt road out there, and a lack of any decent cars due to it only being a 1/8th.
  22. haha oh yeah fair enough then, thought it looked a lot different, how much did it end up setting you back? enough to be a better option than buying a whole new turbo?
  23. haha speaking of fords, a mate went to trade in his Mk2 BA, second owner, 150k, and got offered $4500 for it. I lol'd hard at that one.

shiny wheels are "pretty" from a woman's perspective, as much as you try and tell them about offsets, wight, JDM styling etc, all in one ear and out the other I'm afraid. I either get comments of "zomg love those rims" or "you're fkn kidding me they cost THAT much!? they don't even look fancy!"
  25. the real prob IMO is that it seems to be the model where the most non gt-r's have fake badges and full bodykits etc.
