  1. www.horsepowerinabox.com dude, you could always buy my kkr 480 har har har
  2. could also be a wheel balance issue if you haven't hit any kerbs lately.
  3. r31_patrol, pretty sure I mentioned that in the other thread (carby jetting probably has something to do with it too)
  4. St Albans, or Broadmeadows lol
  5. I've read that you can use RB30 water pump on RB25 at least (blocking up an unused bolt hole with silicon), not sure about NEO though.
  6. Interesting; here I was thinking I'd need a 3076R with a .82 rear to get a lazy 14 psi / 260rwkw!
  7. I was actually curious as to how it could happen - I just use a socket wrench with a long extension and tighten the plugs up until they feel 'reasonably' tight and the texta mark I've drawn on the electrode side is facing near the inlet ports. I've never actually heard of this problem before, hence being curious as to whether it was extreme force on the socket wrench or something else that would cause it.
  8. N12 ET Pulsar (hatch not EXA lol) or do what my mate did and buy a MZ20 Soarer w/ 7MGTE for a work daily.
  9. hahaha good call. I'd rather drive a skyline
  10. where did you pick that up from? looks like the Ozpride carwash in 15th st by the pics lol, thats probably the best one in town.. I know of a guy with a RB20DET in an oz spec R31 if you wanna get a twincam in it lol
  11. AFAIK the stock R32 GTS-4 box was a slightly stronger RB20 unit, but there's bugger all info out there about them. The GT-R also has a mechanical LSD which the GTS-4 dosen't have, and I'm pretty sure there's some kind of difference in the driveshaft too. You're right about the R33/34 GTS-4 as they were all N/A.
  12. how do you manage to break ceramic off plugs when changing them? I just can't see how you can do it unless things are getting really crazy when you're under the bonnet
  13. what kind of boost would a 3071 need to make say 260rwkw though?
  14. aha that explains that then, I was wondering why everyone kept using the word mark, and that was the closest thing which sprung to mind. Yeah thats right about the rarity of cars - you can buy Mustangs for next to nothing over in the US and for that reason most of them do absolutely nothing for me. What it comes down to is really making a counterfeit of anything; you'd be pissed off if someone passed of say a no name turbo as a Garrett, even if the comp housing had the garret stamps and build plate, can't see how it's any different with cars
  15. good read, would read again A+
  16. My GTS-4 was debadged by the previous owner with the rationale that it was less likely to be burglarised because it looked just like a GTS-T rather than something a bit rarer lol
  17. oh come on guys as if you need anything better than Socket 775
  18. haha its the new Duke Nukem Forever! Actually Marc, I like to stop my car on the side of the road to check out the realism of the spectators, it adds to my gaming experience. So you can either GB2 GT4 or come to the light side and get an Xbox 360 + Forza 3
  19. Haha so you buy $20 dollar filters but buy cheap arse oil?! IMO RB25 is piss easy to put filters on and off of, RB20 (especially in HR31s) is a different story and I would be using a filter with a bolt if I had one in that case.
  20. that sounds more plausible Vspec - I have a standard steering wheel but the limiter is removed as well as HICAS.
  21. I've left my R32 undriven for 2 weeks, I did find when I started it up that it ran rough as a bastard for about 5 minutes then cleared up.
  22. might turn out that it is Motul in a different container, since that is their factory fill.
  23. it'd be alright if it was just an RB20 thrasher or something, but yeah
  24. it's just the oil pump smashing thing lol
