my bad birds, yeah my mate picked up his mz20 for like 3 grand for a daily, clean as apart from a bit of a dog eared interior - the previous owner went and bought a VX Commodore lol. TEMS makes it feel a little firmer when you put it in the sporty mode, but either the shocks are stuffed or it just dosen't age well lol. That said how is a 1jz so much better than a 7mgte!?

I live on the NSW side and currently have my licence there... NSW dosen't have stupid BS road rules like VIC does. I also live 550km from Melbourne CBD - I'd be willing to bet that there would be a fair few people around here who can't do a hook turn. I've done one successfully once (I think), but it and the whole tram lane thing in general is hard to get your head around when you're not exposed to it all the time and/or from a rural area (or moreso in my case come from another city where trams are non existent) where you never see anything of the sort. I can understand if the OP was maybe 'hooking' it a bit lol, I know I was when I tried that particularly stupid technique, for fear of being stuck in the intersection or hit by an oncoming car!

a mate has an MZ20 with the TEMS setup, its not THAT good birds lol. Seems to me like its one of those HICAS type things. BTW what's wrong with the 7M-GTE apart from spitting head gaskets?

well I use Motul 8100 X-Cess in my RB25 just to be safe, only difference I really noticed apart from more response (could have been a placebo but felt like turbo had less 'resistance'), was using a genuine Nissan filter which made the oil pressure sit a bit lower than with a Ryco.
